Picked up a 2008 WDP but now I'm running out of driveway
Decided I wanted the GF to drive a nicer car so poked around Craigslist and Cargurus for a few weeks. Got discouraged and decided oh well, guess I can't find a good deal. On Sunday August 12, I jumped onto CL one last time and by luck found a lady that JUST posted her car.
2008 WDP non-nav with 138k miles for $6500 IMMACULATE condition, other than missing the left side oem side visors. I told her I'll give her $5500 and she accepted within minutes. 3 hours later, I brought home a beauty! too bad I won't be the primary driver haha. I really lucked out on this one. The lady is original owner and has papers to show all work done including timing service, brakes, and whatnot.
Best part of the story, I had a buddy that worked at Acura of Boston yearssss ago and has since moved onto bigger things. In the glove box in the new owner manual thing that shows what employee went over the new customer checklist with the first owner, IS HIS SIGNATURE. What crazy fate that is. I would post a pic but I don't want to put his name out there.
I'm REALLY trying hard not to mod since the GF wants to leave it bone stock AHHH unless I can find a great deal on A spec front/sides and Type S rear

really? how much? also, is the A spec rear for the 07-08 the same as the A spec rear on the 04-06? I get confused because I really want the non-Type S front lip for the 07-08 but I like the rear lip of the Type S.
Installed LED yellow fog bulbs tonight and also changed all the interior, trunk, and rear plate lights to LED. GF said no mods but convinced her lights don't count
The LED bulbs give the inside light lenses a nice 6000k color but they output really bright white, I really like them. Too bad the iPhone camera can't capture them correctly.

just a heads up the 07-08 base aspec front lip in wdp is sold out nationally. your only option is to get a different color and paint it

So Sunday I had some extra time on my hands so I added an eBay M3 style lip. I've had good luck with the eBay M3 style lip on my silver 05 SSM so decided give it a shot for the WDP. EBAY LINK to the one I got in case anyone curious. It came prepainted and matches pretty well actually.
I also was not a fan of the blah OEM DRL color so went ahead and swapped 9005 LED bulbs in. The weird thing though, I can only get the driver said to work. I tested both bulbs in the driver side and the bulbs both light up fine. Unfortunately, when putting both in, only the driver side works if anyone has any advice/info regarding this issue, much appreciated. EBAY LINK to the bulbs I bought.
Because I'm addicted to LEDs I went ahead and swapped the reverse lights as well. I did so on my 05 SSM and there is no way I can live without LED reverse lights now, they're ridiculously bright. EBAY LINK to the set I purchased.

As far as the DRL goes you will need a harness which provide 12v from the battery instead of 6v from the DRL wiring this can be bought or you can splice into the factory harness (there is a DIY short distance past), its kinda similar to some high end HID ballast require their own harness for power other wise they will flicker like strobe light.

Okay for the DRL...you'll need an LED module from ijdmtoy or something to get them to work right. Car expects a normal voltage draw from a halogen bulb.
Personally, wasn't worth the trouble.
She told you not to mod it!
Great purchase though, can't go wrong with $5K on the car. Just don't be a knucklehead like I've been and spend twice that on mods!
I would just do spacers and springs and enjoy it for what it is. Otherwise you sink enough money into it to have gotten a type S or something faster or with more modern amenities to begin with!
Your TL is looking so much like mine!!! I just did the lip spoiler during the eclipse last week!!!
I need hood dampers too.... I want the LED DRL, but the iJDMtoy kit is going to be costly once I get quality LEDs for it.... I may also see about giving $30-50 for an install... I messed around with the plastic cover over the battery, had trouble getting back on, I know I'd make a mess of it myself...
I love the TL though!!! WDP is so beautiful!!!

Here's mine!!! I still love the white, the silver works better with some of my mods though....
