Pic Request - WDP + Tint

Looking at different % tint options and I can't decide how dark I want to go...I was thinking 30-35% but with my white seats/interior, I was afraid that may not turn out as dark as I'm looking for. Just requesting some pictures of different shades of tint on a WDP. Thanks guys

no question do 20%. unless cops r dicks where u are u wont get into trouble. not to mention 30-35% is just too light to spend the money IMO

Yeah that's the other issue...cops aren't too friendly with tint around here. I am however working on getting a script from my doctor for tint, due to migraines.

35%:

Dark enough to look good, but light enough not to piss off the cops. I have the ebony leather interior, so it will look darker than a WDP with tan leather interior. I've had plenty of tint tickets before, and I've learned that the inconveniences of getting pulled over and handed a $150 ticket are totally not worth it.

it depends on angle of pic, time taken, background, and type of film too
I have 35% pinnacle series in rear, and 50% generic tint front (don't know brand)

I think it's something like 20%. Seems pretty dark but I have the light interior too. So far I haven't had any problems with cops.

20%...photo was taken in the afternoon so they look a little darker than than they actually are but u get the idea.

Don't let worrying about getting pulled over stop u from gettng what tint u want--I almost made that mistake. It's a managable issue. I've been pulled over more than once...meh, no biggie

(I desperately need new pics since my coilover install...stock height )

35% all around looks the best on black interior. 3 years with it and never bothered by cops. If you have light interior I would do 20%

You need to decide if cops are bad, I have same setup as Jwrong...due to NYC cops being strict on it and I didn't want to deal with tickets. so I got 50/35. My fronts barely look tinted in the sun, at night time it is darker. but with the moonroof open, nav on and my light interior, i haven't had popo issues yet.
If I didn't have police watching me everytime, i would have done 30/20.

That's why I'm In love with my tint, benefit of darker looking tint and staying legal at the same time. I've been pulled over a few times because on overcast day it looks really dark. Have been metered at 46%

Which windows did you have done? All sides, and the rear window? Do you have any other shots as well? Especially since you have a light interior like mine?

I just don't want to put a tint on, then find out it's too light for my liking and have to have it re done again.

If you're worried about them not being dark enough at all...don't get 35%...get 20%. I was in the same boat and ended up getting 20%ish and haven't regretted it. Also, get the good stuff...no cheap tint .

Can somebody still at least see your silhouette with 20%? I hate that "painted" black tint look where you can't see anything at all, but I don't want it to be light either.

Yeah for sure. I have tan interior so that might help, but in day time you can certainly see, at the very least, a silhouette. Again, my tan interior might be aiding in this, but it doesn't look like I'm rolling around all limo'ed out at all.

It's a pretty sunny day here in NC...I'll take a direct side shot and let you judge for yourself.

Also, I think a lot of guys that you see with the lighter tint may have settled on that due to worrying about unwanted attention from cops...but that's merely my opinion.
