Hey everyone - Would someone please post pics of a base TL with A-Spec suspension and 17" rims? I'm thinking about upgrading to the suspension but don't want to create a weird wheel gap with my 17" stock wheels. Thanks!

I tried searching and wasn't too successful. I found lots of posts with the body kit, but few with just suspension.

Here is my car on the aspec suspension.
in the pictures, I do have 255/40/17s which are bald and thinner which makes wheel gap slightly larger.

^my car is on jack stands at the moment.
I did get new tires, still in the same 255/40/17 configuration tho.

if I get her up and running tonight, i'll snap a few more.

off topic but is the a spec suspension lower than the type s suspension?

yes. type-s suspension has the stock height like base. aspec is the only suspension for the TL that lowers the car.

If you get 17"
and these tires

235/45/17
+105.75mm

255/40/17
+102mm

Vertical lenght of the tire will be 17 inch + 102mm + 102mm
17" is 431.8 mm
Total lenght: 635.8

If you get 18"
and these tires

235/40/18
+94

Vertical lenght of the tire will be 18 inch + 94mm + 94mm
18" is 457.2 mm
Total lenght: 645.2
--------------------------
17" giving shorter lenght will make the car sit lower... ifff you use justns tires
which I recommend

Edit: If you have the stock tires which are 235/45/17
Total lenght will be 1.9mm shorter than 18" ones I said up there.. not a noticable difference
If you have justns tires with 17", you'll sit lower and noticable difference... I think
