Painted my Calipers Red this week
Well here is my attempt at painting my calipers. Sorry the pics are bad. I took them with my blackberry. My Brembo stencil comes in this week so I will add higher quality pics with the logo on the caliper. I sanded it down then used some rust cleaner and preventer then applied two coats of primer and 4 coats of the paint. Afterwards I did 3 more coats of clear coat. Took about half the day.

Those are the TypeS Brembos.
You said your stencil comes in a week?
You know that for the letters to stay on the car you have to paint the caliper white...then apply the sticker....then paint the caliper red...then remove the sticker to expose the white lettering.
Hopefully all your painting wasnt a waste...

I think he is going to put the decal on and call it a day. It will look great but with time, it will peel. Do a series of hard braking and get out of the car and see if you can even touch your caliper without getting burned. Now think of how long a sticker is going to last with that and the elements. Time will tell.

That is how it's done the right way without having to worry about the lettering coming off.

I got the rotors off of Ebay for $350 shipped.
And yeah I figured out the brembo stencil problem after I already painted them. Lol. Sucks for me. I ordered it after I painted the calipers. Ill probably repaint everything again, but I will post more pics as soon as I do them.
