They were 19x8.5" Buddy Club P1 Racing II plus wheels 38mm offset. I sold the TL for a car I could actually mod and have more fun in.

It is so GREAT! to be back in a manual.

Damn son.

Judging by the looks of that intake, that RSX is gonna be JDM styled for sure.

Indeed. I have more fun driving this car than I ever did the TL. However, if I had bought the TL in a 6 speed to begin with I might not have gotten rid of it. I must say that it's nice to have a car that I can actually mod with endless JDM parts.

Because I didn't wanna start all over with a $37k car note (since I would have bought a Type S TL) and because there is so much more I can do to the DC5 versus the TL. And yes I did rebadge it a Honda because that's what it is. Plus unlike the TL it's 100% made in Japan and the quality shows when compare to that in the TL at least the 3GTL's.

I like RG2's on a RWD or AWD car with an agressive offset. However, white RG's on a FWD car FTW IMHO.

I might be interested in the braces depending on the price. However, I am kinda holding out for the Carbing Front strut tower bar with the Brake Master Cylinder brace. And I want the J's racing rear Strut tower bar. Not to mention Carbing under braces/bars.

Well have fun with the car. You did take a step backwards in the type of car you got. But also the build quality.

can't go wrong w/ either set up you go for. mugen bars are pending at the moment with a local guy here. if he doesn't take them i'll let you know. i'm asking $375 for both bars. as you know each bar brand new is $300. oh yeah, i also have a j's racing engine dampener if you're interested for $100 shipped.

The J's damper won't work with the 05-06 DC5's. So I am going to go with the Spoon damper unless J's rereleases it with the new brackets.

Funny. The build Quality is better on this car than my TL and the part I know you are all jealous about is that the leather seems to be a better quality too.

You can't really look at it as a step backwards as they are 2 totally different cars. One is a luxury car the other is a sports car. A step backwards would be going to a fully loaded V6 accord. At least in my opinion.

Not to mention I am a JDM Whore and having a car like the TL that I can't buy anything JDM for was killing me. OMG JDM FTW!

Hows the power compared to the TL?

I was thinking about making the same move, but I figured i'd just wait for the G35 coupe.

The Teg is faster than an Auto TL any day of the week. Now from a dead stop the Teg is faster than the 6speed TL but from a roll the 6 speed TL prevails everytime (modded 6 speed TL AEM intake and Comptech exhaust). Hell sometimes I was only 1 car behind while others I was 4 to 5. Just depends on how good of a start I got. Yet when I got to 4th the Teg starts to catch back up to the TL but by that time the race is already over anyways. However, once I get my Hondata ECU Reflash I should be able to kill the 6 speed TL easily.

The G35 is a nice car but maybe not the most practical for this area unless you have a FWD or AWD beater when winter time comes around. Because you aren't going anywhere in the G when it starts to snow. Especially not with the factory rubber on it.
