one step closer to full A-Spec.... WHEELS!!!
18" Ebony A-specs came today, courtesy of the great deal at Findlay Acura... paired them with 235/40/18 Goodyear Eagle GT... setup looks amazing, and the outer lip on the goodyears should do a great job protecting from the ever-dreaded curb rash...
The weather here today is shitty (just like everything else in IL) but there was no way I was gonna let these things sit in my garage... so, in the middle of an april snow shower, my ass is outside with tires and a torque wrench!! Now for some pics!....
OLD: 3 weeks ago, bringing her home...
TODAY'S PRESENT:
NOW: 3 weeks later, with Full A-spec body kit, 18" A-Specs, and Type-S tails...
... Tint, deck spoiler and suspension to come... really enjoying how well she's comin along!

Very nice! I love and hate seeing pics with A-Specs since they look hot, but it is more temptation to spend almost 2K on them including tires...lol. Your ride will give me a very good idea of what mine would look like in the future, up until the suspension anyway (I don't see me doing that)

$1800 shipped was the price...good memory PSULou.... took a long week to get here from Las Vegas, but they were very well protected... Clint at Findlay Acura did a great job wrapping them up... took about a half hour to get them all unwrapped!
All in all, I thought it was a great deal for the Rims, Tires, TPMS, mounted/balanced/filled/shipped, etc. They got here at 2PM and were on my TL by 4pm!

I'm down in Springfield...and it blows.... anything south of Joliet seems kinda the red-headed stepchild of Illinois... the nearest dealer to me is either north to Peoria or south to STL. Gotta try to get up to Chi-town to one of the meets someday, but its had for me to do b/c I work weekends....

If you are shooting for a deck lid spoiler then I strongly suggest going for the type S one rather than the regular deck lid spoiler. The regular deck lid spoiler doesnt even look half as good as the type S one .

Looks really nice. I plan on getting these also but i have to wait for the ATLP base exh. to be finished so i can pay the remainer. Yea for only 3 weeks old I'd say she's comin along nicely!

got any pics of the difference between the regular deck lip spoiler and the type-s??? from what i've read, the regular one only has two bolts and is an accessory, so comes with mounting hardware and instructions while the type-s has six bolts and is considered factory, so it doesnt come with hardware or instructions.... is this right???
BTW, JnC, cleared headlights are on the agenda a few months down, should be PM'ing you about those... i dont think i want to tackle that mod!
