One pic: DROPPED
right, because the tl is a performance vehicle.
I never said it was a performance vehicle. Being slammed negates all the aspects that the Honda/Acura engineers designed the car for.
I can tell you that my car is pretty fun in the twisties. if I was slammed, I couldnt have as much fun in the curves as I am now.
my car puts down the same wheel horse power as the automatic type-s btw.

my car rides the same as it did before i dropped it if not even better.. the only diff is i coulda hit pot holes before i dropped it and not worry about bottoming out but either way i was always avoiding pot holes. and my car is getting stored in the winter and if i decide to take it out in the winter i can adjust it to maker it higher
Thats what i'm talking about, it takes away the driving dynamics.
also, you have to watch driveways, dips, curves...basically anything in the road that is not drop friendly.
I understand that you bought coilovers, and is adjustable. but why not set it at a decent height from the get go?
and did you do the install? I just did a coilover install this weekend. we slammed the fuck outta a honda accord. he was too low, and we had to go back and basically re-do the work in order to adjust.
that wasnt fun.
THis is a good read...from the infamous I hate cars:

in that thread he talks about the negative performance issues.

yeah thats not slammed enough to effect performance negatively... wtf? Lol, if anything it will handle much better on the twisties. Only time you'll have problems is if your running bigger wheels/tires and rub. Furthermore, he has tein SS, with damper. So I can assure you his car handles a lot better than stock. The car looks nice.
it's a public forum. We're not writing essays here... I'll tell you wat's annoying.. grammar police. It's like the retard kid in class who tries to answer every question cuz he thinks he knows everything. Stfu already
Nothing on this thread is a big deal, but if you give me something to comment about, Im not gonna use critical analysis to see whether this is good enough to comment on... beats talking about cons of running reg fuel and other stupid topics this forum gets flooded with.

in the 3 months i've had the car i've tinted the windows, type s wheels, a spec kit, black roof, k&n intake, type s side markers, tein ss.. so i won't be doing any other mods for a while now
What I've noticed about Acurazine is that its like highschool, its a popularity contest, the cool guys get all the compliments even though they do RIDICOULOUS things like the lego wing, no offense, I love erics car and all but Im just stating the truth. When new guys come and just try to show off their car they just get bashed away.

I agree with that comment too...
Sometimes you come on here and if the well respected people say it's cool, it is. Sometimes I see some "JDM" stuff that everyone jocks...and I'm like, seriously, wtf...look at that...green lug nuts etc...it's just perception and who's saying it's cool that separates some mods from being 'ricey' or sought after.
I'm sorry, i will never understand window visors...totally JDM but detract from the clean streamlined look of a car, but some people swear by them...same with that rope thingy hangin and the non useful curtains and pillows.
But, I digress, just my opinion.
Either way it looks friggin rad (yeah, bringin that back). It's funny, when you have coils, low is only low for 3 weeks. Once you get used to it, you get the itch to put the rim that much more into the wheel well. lol.
I keep convincing myself to stop with top of tire tucking to avoid having to get another alignment etc.
J.

^ True. Everyone has their own opinion what's cool. Don't necessarily go by what the general concensus says. I hated the window visors at first. I publicly went on record here that I hated them. Less than a year later, I've got them on my own car, and now I like them. Go figure? I did it with the A-spec kit as well. Gets kind of embarassing having to retract your statements all the time... lol
OP... With the list of mods you mentioned that you have already applied to the car, it's looking pretty good. As I said, a bit low for me in regards to ride-height, if only for the practicality of it all. I would love to see more pictures of her at different angles after you clean 'er up. Sorry about giving you a hard time about your personal image in your pictures. Just ribbin' you a bit.

Dude... usually (as in almost always) when guys post pics of their car, they dont try to stick their face in there to get some air time. You had to actually go find someone to take the pic for you. You got ur face in the only pic u posted, in your avatar, and in the "what we look like" thread. And you got a little over 100 post so you're obviously not a regular on this forum. This is like wat girls do to get attention. Dont you think thats a little :ghey:? We're just saying it as see it, suck it up
...course i would like some 18"s...but that can wait til the spring

A little too low for my tastes and you look tiny in that car!!!! Watch out for the speed bumps and potholes.
.

hahah
