OMG another rota teaser!

Sooo if you recall in my last pic thread i was trying on the blue Rota Grids that my friend had on his STI. Well after a month of being jerked around by the guy, buying a set of RPF1's that didnt come close to clearing brembos.. i finally have a set of 18x9.5 +38 gold Grids from wheeldude.. according to them their last set. My 15mm spacers are in the mail and should be here by the end of the day tomorrow and they will be on the saturday morning. I know everyone hates a test fit thread butttt i couldnt resist. IMO the color combo with the wheels and the car is downright sexy. As for the elitest on this site, this thread may not be for you and I ask you politely now to save your comments about rotas cause thats not the point of this thread. Well lemme know what you think guys, ill post the final result on saturday!

i know what you mean.. gold was not the color i was originally looking for. but in person i really like the contrast in the color and i was not looking for more silver.

Looks like it matches to me. Your interior is a shade of gold. I like it.

I think that would look GREAT. nice set of concave wheels and a drop will set it off even better.

sry we couldn't work something out w/ my varrstoens, lol but you got a sweet set on hand now

i knowww but hey it all worked out . as for tire set up ill be doing the same as italiano and using the tires from my old wheels (for now) 235/40/18. I cant just throw these michelins in the basement considering i spent 1100 on them last summere, but idk if im willing to drive back to fl at the end of summer with stretched tires..

Though it may not be for everyone, I personally think the color combo is great! It reminds me of a '90s Lotus Esprit which was offered in British Racing Green, and had the option of gold rims!

like you guys have said i really like the contrast in the two colors. The DGP can be a tough color to match up with wheels if your not looking to go the silver route, which i def was not looking to do since ive had silver wheels ever since owning the car. Bad news is the spacers i ordered are waiting to come in from ichiba so i will have to find another place to by them . its been about 4 months that i have tried to get new wheels on the car so im getting a little frustrated at this point

lol. yeah, it's the closest i could find on google. there's a DGP i walk by everyday on the way to work, that looked the closest to the color to me. those wheels are nothing like yours tho.

in for REAL pictures.

Nice choice on the rims, I actually wanted the same color and size, but lower offset! GOOD CHOICE!

Wheels look great with the green but not with the amber in the headlights. Clear the amber and you'll be golden!
