question... What are the specs on your wheels and tires, as well as the offset?

Are you fenders rolled?

Wheels- RonJon Inspyres Raven Black w/ machined face, 19x8.5, +42 offset

Tires- Toyo Proxes T1R (I actually DO NOT recommend this tire) I am probably going to get Falken FK-452s next

No my fenders are not rolled, but I have been contemplating getting it done so I can lower the Koni Yellows a little more

You shouldnt have to roll your fenders with the RJ rims, they are perfect fit for the TL, and shouldnt rub.. especially with a 235/35.. if you have a 245 tire, it MIGHT rub, but i doubt it

funny thing. i dont like the RJ raven's on ANY other color then NBP.. doesnt look right... but on the NBP, both you and Elegant Type S's cars are looking off the hook !!! somethign about the black inner face matching the car makes it look so stealthy...

oh and please, for the love of god... BLACK THOSE HEADLIGHTS out.. it will really set the ride off by removing the amber, and getting a better blend of contrast across the entire vehicle... my

I REALLY want to but cannot bring myself to do it!

But I am willing to buy another set of lights and seeing if anyone with experience in blacking them out would do it for me

i've blacked out almost 20 sets of lights for the 3G, its really not hard.. just study the DIY instructions, especially the one from PPLAW-P .. his are the best.... get your supplies, and spend the day doing it

just make sure your oven is big enough. mine is 18x18x 21 and thats NOT big enough.. my girlfriends is like 21x21x24 or something, and that worked...

Don't like the T1R's? I have the same setup and love them, (rims and tires). Very curious if you experienced problems later on with them.

They wore out REALLY fast, too fast for me. I don't know if its because of my suspension setup or what?

BUT if I do black the headlights out what happens with the turn signal? Can I keep the original one or do I have to purchase a new color?

Actually they definitely do wear out fast. I considered getting another brand and the only one that comes close in terms of ride quality, grip, handling for me were the PS2s --- but that's too much cash money.

I know a couple guys with the Falken's and they had some issues with more pronouced road noise as they put on the miles. It's a tough choice, but I think after these wear out completely I'll get another set. Aside from the wear, they perform as well as they do when I bought them.

I'll check out the Tires section to see if anyone has any new info or some more rec's.

Thanks!
Collin

nah, just purchased either (2) amber bulbs (or any color you like) or (2) LED's + 2 Load balancers

i would just do the 2 simple bulbs... the OEM bulbs are a dingy yellow. and other bulbs may not prove to be as bright

You usually remove the amber relectors, or you can cut it to keep a little piece of it to stay legal. I recommend removing it completely and then getting amber bulbs to replace the stock ones. That way they blink yellow.

I went with white bulbs though. I didn't like the fact that I night they glowed yellow with the headlights on.

I know, I'm a freak.

I know when I first got my TL last summer I somehow found ronjons site and saw a TL with their headlights cleared and I found acurazine and have been addicted ever since.

Back to the headlights can anyone give me a good bulb to purchase?

i like the gray in the "ACURA" on the front bumper.. does it match the gray color of the bottom of the front lip? if so you know the color code? I'm wanting to do that to mine, my car is in the shop getting bumber replaced, hood painted. would like to paint the letters next..
had a little fender bender on the ice recently.. plus side I get to go front tagless.. no more gouges.. or worse what I did to it myself..

from certain angles it looks painted, but up close it looks like a decal. Either way it looks good no matter what
