I woke up Saturday and it was beautiful outside. The ride was already clean
so I decided to head downtown for some shoots. Here is a few shoots I took.

What's "Deep Ellum" and why does it need to be saved?

AcuraTLboi, It did seem a little deserted huh.
In one of the pictures you can see a big building behind my car.
That is the Dallas Municipal Building (not the big shiny blue one).
So during the weekdays that parking lot is full. (with all these
traffic violaters here in Dallas...lol)

Deep Ellum is an area East of Dowtown Dallas that used to be
the Hot spot for night life. It still is but not as much as it once was.
There are studios, condos, bars, clubs, shops, etc... you name it.
But when I was down there saturday I did notice a few places
that were boarded up. There used to be a tunnel called
Good Latimer tunnel. It was painted all the way inside & out.
It was a cool place to check out graffiti. But its been taken down.

Why do the pictures look so distorted? what program were you using? too much pixelation for my liking but if they were the reg pics id say they look good!

I used software that came with my camera. I shoot the pics is RAW format.
That gives you the capability to adjust (wb, sharpness, saturation, contrast, hue, etc) I messed around with the pictures to give them a diff look. Nothing big.
You can always change them back to normal view "if thats what you prefer"
Again I was just messing around with the pics to see what I came up with....

I like the one rear shoot that is "distorted". It makes the clouds around it look very apparent. Also the silver tone came out cool looking....
