New Wheels NBP.....

Had 19s but decided it was time to go big. 20 8.5 all around...... Dropped on tien h techs. oooooooo.. i love it. Took me forever to decide on what tire size but decided to go with the 245 35 20 and they fit great.

those are 20's ?? what size tire do you have? it looks beefy... like a 245/35/20...

EDIT:

just noticed you said 245/35/20

thats too big too dude.... messes up the VSA, ABS, EBD etc...etc.... i know it probably rides comfy, but consider getting 245/30/20

goto 1010tires tire size calculator, they'll tell you too.. thats like 5-6% too big.... no good..... my

Isn't it possible to recalibrate mph within the navi setup controls? Gotta press 3 buttons if I remember correctly to get to the setup menu. Not in the car atm, so I don't remember which 3 you have to hold down.

I just checked and the 3 buttons are:

Map/Setup/Cancel
Then-> Tire Calibration

It should be set up to auto calibrate from what I'm seeing
-or-
If you turn it off, you can adjust it yourself

I'm assuming it uses the navi to estimate your speed and adjust your speedo accordingly...

Would be cool if this was a built in feature for the 3rd Gens with Navi.

^ probably wont auto calculate what size wheels/tires you have

the problem is, the overall diameter is too much bigger... i think anything over 3% is dangerous, and he is pushing like 5-6% larger in size...

so it "throws" off the VSA, ABS & EDB.... screw the speedo... thats only off by like 3-4 mph.... its not dangerous, except for speeding tickets

Those are some big tires for the rims to be 20s. It kind of looks akward. But if you like it....I love it! What are the specs on the wheels? Brand? Offset?

Effect wheels, 20 8.5 all around, 40 offset all around. I like them alot. Not a ruff ride at all. Plus 245 30 20 tires were 150 more. lol. im on a low buget.
