New Wheels: 19" Stern ST-1 Hyper Black
Bought them from a Lexus guy that happened to have posted in our black market. Got a hall of a deal on them. I had budgeted out $2500 for wheels and tires, and ended up getting out at $1450, brand new rims, tires, lugs, tpms and hub rings.
Specs on the wheels are:
Stern ST-1
Hyper Black
19X8.5"
+45mm
Nitto NT555
245/35/19
With such boring specs and offset, I was thinking about getting some 5 or 10mm spacers, but they actually look good IMO, so I'll leave them as is for now.
Now for some photos. Forgive me...my car is pretty dirty.
With all that money I ended up saving, I was going to go with the Wilwood BBK, but upon seeing my stance, I've decided that even though I'm dropped on A-Spec suspension, I need to go loooower! Tein SS or Megans are in my future. The brakes can wait, some slotted rotors and some black caliper paint will do the trick for now.

Yeah, the color was a big thing for me. It was either some type of gunmetal, hyper black, or black with polished face. I didn't want an exact paint match, but I wanted something dark.

Good color choice and looks very nice! Please tell me suspension is next. But remember if you do spacers you might wanna not be too low so it might be good. You can do some agressive spacers.. do 10mm all around. +35 offset I think is perfect for the TL.

But that will be next year's project, since my wife has banned me from spending anymore on my car for this year!

noice the 245 really makes it look wider than it is, i do concur in the lack of need for a spacer... drop it likes it hot
if i were you i'd just get a set of koni yellows and rock em wit the aspec coils... but thats just me

Sweet wheels man. Looks great. I have anthracite and your color is damn close. Hyper black looks tight as hell with that body color. I've been looking at Stern wheels as a possiblity when I have enough $$ to get a set...

Also, I can sell the A-spec set up as a whole and make some $$ back hopefully.Either that or Megan. Still on the fence. It will probably come down to price. I'll hopefully find someone parting out a car with TEIN SS on them and catch a deal...
