New tires...newly waxed...beautiful sky...excuse to take pics!

Just put some Goodyear Eagle F-1 GS-D3's on the TL and waxed it...decided it was a good reason to take some pics (also just moved into the newly built house...so why not?).

Comments and questions welcome of course!

Thanks...I still have a way to go on the car...mostly BECAUSE of the house (backyard goes in during the next two weeks; pool's in though!).

Aw...c'mon! It's not TOTALLY stock!!! What about the reflection of the sky in the paint?!

Okay, I'm kidding. I really am working on the car though...just got the TL-S marker lights in the mail this week. A-Spec suspension is probably next...hopefully by the end of the year.

What else do you want to see on the house? It's kind of disaster on the inside right now; moving with three kids ain't easy.

that car looks great, how many miles and you can tell you dont do highway miles either as the frontend looks great....

the only thing i would do to that car is get painted splash guards instead of the flat black one that were the only offering back in the first years of the car...

Good to see another 'Devil on here! Looking forward to that game with Georgia.

Actually, we aren't in the San Tan Village area...we're north and east of there; new Ashton Woods development near the Higley Groves area.

The car actually has 36,000 miles and I actually spend 60 miles a day on the freeways here (30 miles each way on my commute). I've just been fortunate to not have too much hit the front end so far. Now, what you can't see is the chip in the windshield I still need to get fixed.

Regarding the splash guards, I hadn't thought too much about color matching because by the time Acura started doing that they had discontinued my color. We'll see...after the A-Spec suspension, I'm hoping for new wheels, and then we'll see what's next after I can see all that on the car.

Thanks...yeah, they are actually starting on the planting strips this week...for some reason they didn't put the irrigation plumbing in BEFORE they poured the concrete for the sidewalks and driveways; go figure.

I was surprised at how much beefier the tires looked when I got them on as well considering they're the same size as the original Michelin's; and BTW, I love the performance on the tires so far as well...love living where I can have "summer" tires all year long.

Odd. I guess as long as it gets done and is done right .

A lot of people really seem to really like those tires, both on here and on various online feedback sites (Tire Rack, 1010Tires, etc.). They are one of the ones I'm considering for my new wheels once I finally sell my old wheels.

I would like to see the master bedroom, kitchen, baths, living room and the backyard. It's okay if it's a mess right now. That way we can see how you have transformed it when you get settled in. It's a beautiful neighborhood too.

Visually the car is stock is what i meant.

Tell you what...I'll post a couple of pics of the kitchen and the family room when the builder was finishing up...before we painted the interior and moved anything in. Plus, I'll give you a link to the builder's website so you can check out the floor plan. That'll have to do for now.

Just to elaborate on the tires a little - I am much happier with their grip in cornering than what I got out of the Michelin's. These inspire a lot of confidence. I'd say there's a bit more road noise than the stock tires, but it isn't substantial. One thing that is noticeable is that there seems to be a bit more "feedback" from the wheels in the sense that you feel much more of the imperfections in the roadway. But, it's a trade off for the performance. Besides, I like the aggressive look of the tread design.
