A New Project Begins- No More TL
Well, I sold the TL. It was time for a change, though I didn't really get to mod the car to the point I wanted. I always wanted a coupe, and a 6mt car, so I decided to bite the bullet and go for just that. I always hoped for Acura to come back out with the CL or something, but I doubt that would happen anytime soon. With that being said, I decided to purchase an infiniti G37 coupe 6mt. The only thing I have to worry about now is winter time, but I'll figure that out when the time comes. TL wasn't the greatest in snow anyway. Had the G for almost a month now and already started doing a couple of things.

Congrats on the purchase! I'm looking forward to seeing what you have in store for the G.

Thanx guys. I was going to go for a BMW 335i, but as far as technology and features, I felt the infiniti gave more for the money. Acura really needs to come back out with a coupe. Next move after this will possibly be a BMW.
So far, I added a spoiler, roof spoiler, smoked tails, Plastidip rear valence, and retinted.

I'm not of an Infiniti fan. Like my fellow BMW buddies. I just feel BMW drivers don't like Infiniti drivers. Never knew why its like that. Hahah! But if I was out in the world with a job already. I would pay a bit more for something else rather than an Infiniti. I think Infiniti cost too much. I wouldn't pay that much for an Infiniti.
I respect your choice, and I hope you love your car. Self-opinion matter the most. But you will be missed in the world of Acura. I was also a bit disappointed that you didn't get the BMW 335i instead. =)
Yeah, Acura doesn't have coupe, but I'm more of a sedan person. But in some cars I would prefer the coupe version over sedan. Example: Like my M3. I was like oh hell no when I saw the sedan M3. Didn't look as right as the coupe M3.
Then there are cars like the Civic SI. I like the Civic SI in sedan over the coupe. Its matter of opinion on how the car looks. Acura's sedans look pretty good.

Funny, I went from G37S to TL-S. Need the space for the new passenger. G37S is an awesome car, small but great to drive. If you get coilovers go KW v3, you wont regret. Good luck with your project.

Definately, I had my G for 3yrs and the only reason why I swap for TL-S was becasue of the deal that I got otherwise I would of jump into a Bimma... Zim..Zimma!!!

My first choice was a 335xi (couldnt find an xi), but in the end, the infiniti offered more for the money. Between the technology, power, looks, and lower maintenance costs, it was the most logical choice for my circumstances. My second runner up was an audi A5, but the interior didnt do it for me and it felt much slower. Hopefully soon I can catch up to a sexy M3 like yours.

Thanx, I did it myself using Plastidip from Homedepot. It sprays on like paint and dries a little rubber with a matte black finish. Did this because it doesn't chip. Had rock chips all over my TL grille when I had it professionaly painted...such a waste. Best part about it is that if you get tired of it, you can peel it off. Plastidip works well for those who want to paint their emblems black too... check this thread:

Wow that's cool!
I'm going to try some next time... the rear middle section of my S bumper is chipping off [painted it black].
The G is looking good too. Love the headlights!

Thats a sick car man... i kinda regret not buying a two door car. You can twin turbo those easy enough too. Good luck, if i didnt owe a good chunk of money on the TL i would sell it and go to a two door with RWD!
P.S. do your car a favor and buy a winter car. I picked up a 01 Civic for 3k just so i dont ruin my nicer cars.
