Well, the weather was perfect today (for shooting anyways, overcast and dreary) and work was light, so I took the car out to take some new shots.

lilsid112- I went to UF for undergrad and wife is in Vet School there. We still live in Gainesville. You go to UF?

 

im at sfc right now, hopefully will be transferring there soon. i thought those places looked familiar lol.

Both of my parents went to FSU. My uncle and two of my cousins went to UF and my uncle also taught there for a while. I was born and raised in Orlando, right down the street from UCF. If I hadn't had moved here to NC, I would probably have ended up at UCF.

CLtotheTL- HAHAHA Right.... I do suppose FSU is better at certain things than UF. Like training for a career in fast food! HAHAHA (I keed I keed, I have lots of friends that didn't get into UF and went to FSU, so I can't hate too much. ) UCF is a great school. Where do you go in NC? We have a house on Beech Mtn. Not far from App State.

I'm in Cary which is right outside of Raleigh. Ever hear of SAS Institute? The main campus is located in Cary. I've never driven from here to App, but I heard it's about 4 hours. I've heard it's gorgeous out there.

AcPimpin- Yup. Only thing I have done (or will do) is the tint. I have done the modding thing before. Had a 2006 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road that I modded the heck out of and beat it even worse. What I learned was I will only mod spare vehicles now.

Here's the old gal...






Mods (That I can remember)- True dual Flowmaster Delta Flow 50 Exhaust, 3 inch Old man emu lift, black out emblem front, debadged back and sides, Blacked out headlights, fogs always on, and a few others. Had a 6 speed MT andwas fast as crap. But fell apart with 12,000 miles on it. Toyota doesn't build them like they used to, and I beat it to death.


lilsid- Camera is Canon EOS 30D with Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 lens. Would be awesome to shoot the cars together... I took a pic of my TL next to some random one, but the pic didn't come out right since he was just parked.

Thats a nice camera, I have a Nikon D60 with a couple of lenses I can bring to try out. Im in the middle of detailing the TL right now, if you want to meet up sometime after to take some pics.

 

Sounds good. Mine got real dirty again today since the yard crew always blows crap all over it. I will just touch it up and photoshop out what isn't clean. HAHAHA
