New guy sayin' hi! :)
Hello all. I've been following Acurazine for a few months and finally decided to join up to share my own baby.
In addition to a BMW 5 Series & a Civic Si, I have a '07 Type-S model in Carbon Bronze Pearl. It is on a lease (hope I don't catch any flack for that ), but I do plan on buying her in 2010, instead of moving up to the new TL SH-AWD; don't care for the design.
I'm also planning on modding her, and showing her off at Dallas' next H.I.N. (the event had zero TLs. ). Right now, just in the mood for an exhaust & wheels. The only thing about the wheels is that I'd like something that goes well with the CBP. Bronze Volks are awesome, but pricey.
But, on to the car. Hope you all enjoy your's as much as I enjoy my baby.

It may have been due to the fact that McDavid wanted a lot of money for any add-on, though. After all, it's why I got the windows tented somewhere else for $75 other than the dealer who wanted over $150.
Auto. I drive a lot in heavy traffic, so I would rarely enjoy the manual (which is why I hardly enjoy driving the Si). However, I still love using the little "manual" mode.

I don't really see any competition. For one, my 5 is more of a large, cruiser. There isn't a high amount of power, so it's really a car I just like to drive to certain events. I hate taking it out for subtle things like running a small errand.
The TL, though, feels so much different. Lot of power, and if you want to hear it, you don't have to actually floor it. It doesn't feel large either, so I never really take as long to do something like a lane change with her. It's just a great car to drive.
To be frank, I couldn't class the 2 together. They're both nice cars, but one is just a great cruiser, and the other is a terrific sports car.
