New to the fourm and new to TL's-just picked up a '08 type S

Hey guys im Jason from Indy. I picked up a 2008 Type S on Monday from the dealership my little brothers a master tech at. I've really never had an import but I must say I LOVE IT! It's as fun to drive as my 03 cobra. Here's a few pics of it and the cobra. enjoy!

And my other fun car.....

No not really, I spent a few hours tonight with my lil bro he looked over the car. We put in a new acura battery, belt, idler pulleys, cabin air filter, and acura wiper blades. The car was a lease trade in. And sat on there lot for a week until the guys new car came in. I bought it 6 hours later for wholesale price 22k. I think it was a good deal.

Any supermarket would carry it right? I used meg's. polish on them. They look better but are still rough on the insides.

Love the Type-S, but even more you have my dream car....A TERMI!!! I've owned an 87 GT Vert, 95 GT, 01 Cobra Vert, and almost picked a 10th anniv. Termi the day I sold my 01 but they guy sold his about an hour before I sold mine....

Looking at the rear tires I'm guess you have a couple mods on the Terminator....lol

GWWWAAADDD DYAMMMITT...

A nice little 50 shot of spray....lol. She is a beast for sure man. Just out of curiosity what clutch are you running and is it the stock T56? I love watching clips on youtube with Termi's eating Lambo's and Ferrari's like a sack lunch our parents served us back in elementary school.

Welcome fellow Hoosier. Nice looking Type-S.

Your brother is the master tech at Hubler? That's awesome! I normally go to Ed Martin since it's closer, but I bet he can give you some nice discounts on service and parts.

Congrats on your purchase!

I think they look like they're supposed to when black on the inside and quickly changing to polished/chrome on the outer lip and exterior of the tip. Mother's Aluminum Polish works fantastic applied with 600 then 1000 grit sandpaper, to smooth it out I hand buffed the crap out of mine after that with Mother's on a microfiber towel. I'll probably polish the rearward facing surfaces of the mufflers with that method next time I have some tinkering time. lol
