New to the forum/New to my 2007 TL-S

Hello everyone,

Just picked up a 2007 tl-s a few days ago and have really been enjoying it. Its black on two tone with manual transmission. It had only one owner previously and was always serviced at the dealership, no accidents. Came with new tires / pads / oil change. I am taking it on Monday to get the oil changed to synthetic, gm syncromesh fluid swap in the tranny and a new purge control valve (gas cap warning issue). Other than that she's pretty much mint for the year. My only issue is the black paint on the front end is kind of sanded /chipped from driving. Not a big deal. May get it painted with a 3M guard, we'll see. Here are some pics. Thanks for everyones info on the forum, helped me choose this car and understand the current issues with these models. You guys are top notch. I came from an Acura EL 1.6, so it is like day and freaking night driving this car. Beyond ecstatic. Let me know what you think of her.

Wow that's an excellent find, grats!

Some Teins would make your wheel gap much sexier.

Thanks guys, I really don't think you can find a better value car for the money IMO.

Do you have them on your car? I'll try to check out some pics. I would lower my car only if it didn't affect the ability to drive over things such as speed bumps and whatnot.

Nice! Can't go wrong with a 6MT in the S.

I have the same car with tein springs on mine and i love them. I have a thread in the photography section if you want to see how it'd look.

Congrats on the pick up

It was indeed, had lots of bells and whistles. Sitting in my driveway with 400,000 km on original engine and tranny. Still runs like a top but lots of little things have broken.

use barkeeps friend for the exhaust. takes some time but they'll look new. and as far as lowering just dont do anything over 2" and you'll be golden. once you pass that mark you start running into issues
