I was just looking at some of that yesterday. How good does that stay on for the long haul....I live in Indiana....cold winters, ect. Wondering if there would end up being a peeling issue? What do you think having used it and how long have you had installed?

Here is one that I found....it isnt the greatest sample quality - working on one of my own.....click below

Inside Car
Outside Car

(Right click and "save as" if the above does not open automatically for you)
That is the same clips that are here on Acurazine and if you ask me leave a little to be desired....but working on better sample from my own car. Didnt want to leave you waiting though.....

Thanks! I am an old man of 38 though....did my share of manuals already! Too much standing on the clutch at redlights, ect. You are right though....manual would have been a bit more fun and faster off the line for sure.

Thanks man...appreciate your comments! I thought the same thing about the round tips...but have grown used to them as they are larger than the stockers...and now I stare at the square ones because I am so used to seeing round. The black Chrome emblems you have to get made special. Look under platers in your phone book or on the net...there are several companies that can do this for you.

So you guys are ok with the exhaust showing the muffler like that? I actually like the look of the stock exhaust better to be honest. Not trying to disparage this TL ... very awesome, better than what mine looks like (all stock). Just don't think I'd be happy with the look of that exhaust.

Actually Mr Bigglesworth, I struggled with the same issue at first. I really like the tapered square exhaust tips and the look of the stock system....kind of what got me looking at the TL to begin with...I really liked the way the back end looked. (even before A-spec). BUT, I already had a GS400 with very similar system (L-tuned) so I was used to that look also....but I really did struggle with the decision...then just "went for it". Now...I am so used to seeing the round tips....the stock exhaust looks a bit strange to me? But I TOTALLY know what you are saying....had a bit of a struggle with it too! But the performance gains were well worth the trade off! Not to mention the sound!

I struggled at first with the round tips as well. Now I absolutely love them! The OEM exhaust doesn't do it for me now. The sound of the Comptech exhaust is amazing.

Nice ride, sir.

One question, how's the UR pulley on the AT TL. Does it cause any problems? Do you think it'll cause any later? How's the power difference.

Thank you!

Aaron.

I too have an '06 WDP, and have started down the similar path as yourselves, but am wondering, is it possible to put on the exhaust like you did and use the square tips? Would it be restrictive? Car looks great! Wish I had a spare $10k, but then when I look at the $10k I saved by not getting a BMW I smile and think of the things I want to do next to my new TL.hehe...I'm hoping to do an A-spec rims and susp next, I'd like to see the WDL TL with good pics of the A-Spec dark chrome rims too, all the ones I've seen online of rims look the same.

CT RSB went on mine yesterday, performance bushings and Sun auto voltage and grounding kit come next, then maybe CAI..A-spec kit...dynamat, stereo, all it takes is $$!!

Yep...those 20" rims do rob performance. I still have three sets of A-Spec rims for competition use though. Your right...just got the 20" rims for looks and a change up for marketing purposes....
