What's with all of the stickers, though?

The only stickers on there are the exhaust pointer (It's Comptech Sport) as I got tired of telling everybody where they could get one at stoplights; the SRH sticker in the back window (representing for my buds...see srh.com) and that damn dealer sticker I still have to take off. There is the A-spec and stock badging on there too....

Yes...I got the"puffy" Acura Stickers for the front bumper to fill in the ACURA divots and make them stick out on ebay for about $30 or something (seemed way overpriced...but that was the only ones I found that were actually puffy decals that stood up in the recess) They were available in carbon fiber, black, and I think colors too. This is the carbon fiber colored letters (have carbon fiber look to them).

Ya ya....I hear ya Moderator......had tons to people ask for pics of my car so I up'd them....sorry if you didnt care for the title. I take it you were so quick to be a dick you didnt even notice that it also has a comptech RSB....(wow) O'well...you never can be quite as cool as a geek who spends his time moderating bulletin boards.....I think I'd rather be on my end and just have overspoken a bit spanky!

Note to Comptech...I would have more of your stuff on there if they had more available.....and note to moderator....I did label it as A-spec Comptech didnt I? Damn dude....

You're missing the springs. Anyways, your car is more A-spec than Comptech, don't get all your panties in a bunch because of a little constructive criticism. Enjoy your stickers

hey so how does the car sound. did u put both on at the same time? if u put the intake on first, did it sound loud? non luxurious? i just wanna know basically if your car sounds like your average rice rocket with both intake and exhuast. or does it sound unique

i have just an AEM CAI on mine so far and it really isnt a noticeable sound difference except at WOT, and even then, its not drastic

Ya...I was just messing with ya back a bit! Correct....I chose the A-spec suspension set up due to the fact that is was easier to deal with and wanted to stay with the basic A-spec pkg except when I had to deviate to accomplish what I wanted to do. Yep...I agree with the stickers thing....as I said...I get too many questions and dont want to deal with em at the stoplights, etc. so I just put it on there for about 3-4 months and it tends to do the trick...plus promote modding the TL's locally and letting peeps know where to get the stuff, ect. (did the exact same thing for my Lexus GS400 L-tuned) Since I have been running around Indy...I have seen about 4 other A-spec TL's that have cropped up too. As I said...been meaning to 86 the dealer stickers for a while now.....figured I would remove them and the exhaust pointer at the same time in a few months at one shot. And by the way....my style is a bit ghetto....so shit...what can I say there - if the shoe fits...wear it and wear it good! I'm just a lucky chump from Indy....! (if I can steal a line from Rick Fairless on Speed Channel!)

I would say that it sounds unique and not like all the Hondas out there. I did the exhaust first.....then the CAI after the first oil change at the dealer. Most noticable difference was after the CAI - and if you are wanting to stay all luxury....I would stay away from modding the exhaust at all.....will change it to a "sport" sound. BUT...to really accomplish any performance gains....you kind of need to open up both the intake and exhaust. Been working on a sound bite for the Comptech exhaust system.....will keep you posted when I get one done.

Thanks...I too was torn over the window deflectors and still am. Not sure about the look....gotten used to it though. Much needed addition though if you ever crack your windows when its raining on these models....the rain comes pouring right in on you! (I have a smoke on the way into the office in the AM) These seemed to do the trick...so I have dealt with em. I figured I knew I was getting near 40 years old when I started accepting these things for creature comforts!

I think it is the darkness of the wheel wells and the angle of the parking lot of something....it got the typical a-spec drop. Note....the automatics sit up in the front more than the manuals do as I think (and I repeat....think) that the spring rate is different for auto and manual springs. I think they are heavier on the automatic due to the weight of the trans. as manual trans is much lighter. Not sure there...but have heard this several times before in other threads. Some people even go with the manual springs on the automatic due to the "set" of the car afterwards. The auto springs leave the car a bit higher in the front. I figure...what the heck....once you cram the gas to the floor....it rares back anyway - this just sets it closer to launch position>? Just a theory>..... I remember the old days when we used to have to put huge springs on the front of our V-8 camaros and firebirds due to the oil pan hanging so low.....and those springs worked there as again.....already set your car back on the back wheels ready for launch. Being this is front wheel drive....maybe that is not such a good thing? (weight shifted toward wrong side>?) Not sure...have to think about that one for a while....

Anyway...yes....I went with the correct rate A-spec springs for Automatics....which is what I think you are seeing.

I have been happy with it. Working on a sound bite to post for people who have been asking the same question. My guess is it sounds just like the manuals....same motor making the sound?

Looks nice! Got a close up of the CAI where it connects to the TB? It seems like there's no IAT sensor relocation option on that Injen.. just curious.

I, for one, like the wind deflectors... looks clean, and like you, I hate how the water just pours in from the top of the A-pillar even when it's not raining hard.

And I agree with the rest of the folks... the decals on the back ruin the clean look of the WDP. At least take off the dealer ad and the comptech one.... if you really want to put on a comptech decal, find a white one and put it on the black plastic part between the two tips. I think that'd look clean...er.

I like it!!! I'm not to keen on the deflectors either. But with the WDP, it looks good with almost anything. Great looking car!!!

take all the badges off, even the a-spec one and I'm happy to hear you got rid of the decals. The last thing I would do is maybe smoke out the lights or something..

I have been looking into the smoked tails....whats the best way to accomplish that? The film stuff? Outside of inside of housing? How hard to do?
