New Blk wheels on WDP

So this is what I came from.........

And this is what I changed into.............

It took me a long time to narrow down the right "look" I was going for but I'm happy I took the time to research it.

As you can see from the pic, the back tires are 245/40/19. I still wasn't sure they were gonna fit with no rubbing but all findings lead to "no rubbing".

The front tires are still 245/35/19 but I will replace them with the 40 series tire early next week.

wheels look nice man! big improvement from your chrome setup!! But the 40 sidewall looks huge! just too big for my tastes, and if i'm not mistaken will throw off your speedo a bit... other then that.. looks nice, get youself an aspec kit!

Looks much better than before!

Lose the mud flaps and get the A-Spec kit. You won't regret it

Thanks for the compliments.....

The 40 sidewall "IS" huge. Just what the doctor ordered for these shitty roads here in Northern-VA/MD/DC......I cannot bear riding on 35 series tires anymore. The risk has become to high. But honestly, I like a more "meaty-tire" look. Makes my 35 series setup look like child's play, IMHO. I'm off with speedo being off a bit. My speeding days are long over with, I just cruise now.......

The aspec kit is next on my list but since collectively with the back-up camera costs and installation plus the new wheels/tires I've recently spent almost 2k so my bank account needs a rest from car upgrades. I need/want to buy some more clothes for summer time and perhaps save for future trips/cruises, etc for this year......Not to mention just saving money in general....

I am missing a lug nut on the front rim. I'm not sure what installer (Merchants Tire, Craven Tire Auto, or whoever)did it, but when they replace my tire months ago (due to potholes) they must have broken it then cause that was the last time I touched my wheels in terms of taking them off. Thank God for a 5-bolt pattern. I will fix it when my remaining 2 40 series tires arrive next week.

I'm rolling on 245/40/19 too. speedo is not that off, only 4% (speedo reads 60, when you actually doing 62... not a huge dif) but I was feeling the same way here in Boston, literally, there is a pothole my nieghbor hit and he COULDN'T get out. the potehole was a bit smaller then a bathtub, and since the street was warped (I have no idea how that happens) it created like a hill, which you could not see the pothole. I sed "F*CK that shyt", not that adding an 1" to the sidewalls would prevent something like that from happening, but it sure does help against smaller potholes.

MUCH better! even going to stockies wouldve been an improvement over those things! but i actually really like your new wheels. now just paint your rotors and/or calipers. black rust-o-leum worked for me. quick fix, lasting results.
