Hello I just started using acurazine today but ive been on here getting ideas, learning, as well asputting my project together.

I'm 17 years old, and live in dallas! if yall live close hmu i would like to learn more.

Well heres my 05 WDP TL. ive only been working on it for about 2 weeks so its not all that like yalls but its some!

-Decided to sticker out my gas cover.






-And Got these wheels for now. Yes i went from 18's to 17's i just got bored of aspecs. (17x8.5, 17x9.5 +25)









Future plans
-Aspec Lip kit (if i can find any in dallas)
-Type S lights and exhaust
-Tein Coilovers




Any tips?

Personally, I'm not a fan of the new rims or the "stickered out" gas tank cover.

And please get some centercaps.

x2 on the gas tank cover. doesn't flow real well with the rest of the car. Personally I wouldve kept the aspecs on. the smaller rims look awkward on the 3g cause of the bigger bodystyle. but i like the drop i see u plan on getting coils in the future it will look much better! but nice start keep the mods comin

^ +1.. i agree..but theres plenty of time to progress and fix certain things plus you're only 17 haha.

If you arent happy with aspecs get them coated a new color.. Something simple, from personal experience I had 17s on my TL and it doesn't flow too well being that the car is so big.. If anything 18s or 19s.. Other than that one step at a time and it'll be all good.

sell both sets (if you still have the aspecs) and buy some nice 18"s or 19"s. No point in a drop if your dropping your wheel size as well...

i will take them all into considerations.

but i think imma keep the stickered out gas cover cause when i pull up to car meets it attracts alot of attention to my car and people asked how i do it and stuff! i wanted some part of my car to just stand out.

i will be going back to 18's but for now i will keep these 17's because my 1 of my aspecs is bented (idk how) and the rest are curbed nasty due to my dads lack of driving skills.

WTF did you do to your gas tank cover? LOLOLOL The things people do to their cars on this site never cease to amaze me :-) Besides that the cars actually looks decent! Little bit of scuffs on the back bumper but thats fixable. Welcome to Azine

As for the gas cover, I've seen it pulled off many times well on RSXs with "illest".
Those RSXs tend to be modded nicely.



I don't think the TL pulls it off well, at least not with the mods it has so far.

^^^ yeah I agree...what is this "pull it off well" crap lol. How is a gas cap with pink purple and blue colors that say something retarded like "illest" pulling it off? And to think thats probably owned by a dude. I should paint my gas cover pink on my Z06. The guys over on the vette forums would love that hahaha. I love the acura forums here but I will say some of these kids do some funny things to their cars :-)

Johnny, welcome to Acurazine. Congrats on your ride-enjoy!

You're young and you want to stand out-I totally get it and understand that. Just know that an extreme thing like the gas cap mod obviously gets people rauled up here.

Make the TL your own-be original-have fun with your car. At the end of the day, you have to pull it into the driveway/garage and you're the only one that has to be happy with the way it looks.
