WDP is probably the reason I even bought this car.

Very good pick up! WDP all the way. I must say, I do not like how those backup sensors look.

I don't mind it. Had to parallel park today and they helped...

Filled up this morning and decided to keep it under 3K RPM the whole way to work.

Comp says 33MPG...I'm going to try and take it easy on this tank and see what I can get to.

CONGRATS!!! I bought pretty much the same car only two months ago.
'05 TL Dynamic, 6 Speed with Navigation, White Diamond Pearl on Black interior, with 10% tint all around also.
Funny thing is, just like you, it was exactly what I wanted too.

Thanks man. I know it's rare. That's why I wanted it so bad

I don't like white on tan and I don't like black interiors just because grease marks are so visible from cleaning or anything else.

Funny story.

When I was detailing the car, I noticed that the passenger side A-spec skirt was missing! The guy I bought it from never even noticed it either.

Of course being OCD it started bothering the hell out of me. I found myself only parking at stores where when I walk out, I only see the left side, etc...

So today I ordered the passenger side skirt, got new mirror glass (stained from the heater) and got a new intake hose (small tear in mine).

Wtf? I don't blame you for going crazy and ordering a new one, I would have too.

How's the TL treating you so far? Anything in particular that you like or dislike?

Congrats bro! You and I have the same colors going on, WDP + Quartz.

Ive done CF package in my interior which looks pretty nice against the Quartz. It's a must do to make that interior look better.

I've always liked the woodgrain but I'm starting to lean towards the CF.

At first I was like then I was like

I couldn't believe I missed it....Oh well....It's only going to cost me $165 for the skirt - well worth it to get it out of my mind.

I like the car a lot so far. I'm at 183 miles this tank and averaging 28mpg. I've never had a car so good on gas. It's a lot of fun to drive, I love how it looks, I love the options. The only downside is the suspension is stiffer than what I'm used to but it was something that was expected so it's fine.

I appreciate the A-spec kit so much now that I own the car. A) looking at one w/out it, it looks empty and naked B) it's rare and makes the car stand out much more.

All in all, after 500 miles so far I couldn't be happier with the car. It's been very good and once the new mirror glass, side skirt and intake hose are on I'll be 100% satisfied.

Thanks man! Can you post a picture of the interior? Very interested in seeing it.

I love your wheels!

Unfortunately I'm going to have to keep my car stock. The wife to be is not the biggest fan of the RL so I need to pay the TL off asap to buy a pearl white GX470 for her...I will never sell my RL so selling it/trading it is not an option.

I need a bigger garage/driveway already

Thanks! That thing is my baby. At 140K miles, it feels more solid than most newer cars I drive today.

My TL at 253K feels solid as well though

haha it's all good.

averaged 27.53mpg on the first full tank.

I haven't owned a car this good on gas in a long time. I think if I could really drive "nice", I could get 29-30 out of it.

Damn 27? Is that mostly city or highway? I drive 90% city and I get about 23.

That's mostly hwy. My commute to work is 90% over 45mph with minimal traffic. On weekends, we drive the RL more than the TL. RL gets like 20-21mpg

That's because the RL is a boat. For mostly highway 27 isn't too bad. I usually average 30 on long highway commutes.

Edit: I read your second post.

Yeah, I'll take a trip to Chicago with the TL one of these days and see what kind of MPG's I'll get. I just wish I didn't have snow tires on it right now; that doesn't help either.

Ouch. Snow tires can't be good for the MPG, better yet the handling. The previous owner had the snow tires on the A-Specs year round?
