Not really feelin the NBP lip on you WDP.... but that's just me. Glad I looked into your thread - do those two black bracket looking things in pic #1 & #2 hold the lip on??

I was curious - mine is going to be installed (by me) soon as I was wondering how those bracket things were suppose to go on......and what they are for.

As a side note maybe a WDP lip with the bottom gray section painted gloss black or NBP?

Naaahhhh...not feelin' that one playa! By itself, it ain't hittin', but maybe with the CF hood on it? Hmm...I don't know, you stuck with it now so put some stuff with it, but don't leave it by itself...it ain't flowin' right...it's like asking you why am I here? It's damn sure asking me that!

Really tho...if you wanted Hybrid...shoulda went with a Scion or something, even a Camry, but yeah...it is what it is...so...MOD UP to cover up this one!!!! I hear Ca-Ching!! Sound of your wallet/ATM card gettin' the vapors...

yeah i went out on a limb with that....now im stuck buying a CF HOOD....too bad i guess...lol....those first two pics showing two black brackets are really just guards to push against the lip, there's 2 brackets that mount on the inside of the wheel wells, pretty simple to install, screw driver, 3mm/6mm/10mm drill bits to drill the holes for the brackets, clips, and lip...3 screws hold the lip up on the bottom center, 2 factory bolts, 2 clips that come in the kit, 4 that screw into the bracket in the wheel wells, and the rest is 3m double sided tape....took me like 15 mins...if that....but i work at Honda, so im used to puttin on accesories, ...on another note....Honda makes a v6 hybrid accord...basically a TL....not gonna get into the long discussion on why its on there...its in a thread some where....but yeah....i took a chance with the nbp lip....oh well...moving on...

Hey, any word on when the official body change for the TL will drop? Thought I might ask you since you work there and might have heard something. ALso, RWD or AWD a definite?

If you can answer those, this forum will become like an E F Hutton commercial!

It looks ok from head on but from the side it just doesnt flow at all! Like you said if you get a CF hood and some black rims or something it would probably look better.

Sorry man, I'm not feeling it either. I give you credit for going out and trying something different that nobody else has tried yet. It might look better with a CF hood.

If people start ripping on you too much, just tell them that it's a work in progress or something like that.

If you want to do this, the sides need to be painted white. The white sides of the lip need to be as low as the center part. Then experiment with either putting silver door molding on your lower grills or mesh down there with the center bars remaining black so there's contrast. I think with a little work, I could look much better.

You should def. get the rest of the A-Spec kit NBP to help with the flow. Black rims, CF hood, and ...maybe blacked out head lights.

Then were talking.

Like others have said, this needs some work. I'm not closing the book on it just yet...think about the final picture here. I definitely think that you need some other black body components to make it work, though. As it is now, it's not quite right, but I can look at it now and just see it as a work in progress. Keep us posted!

This gets me thinkin.. what about a WDP A-Spec lip on a NBP? Anyone have this done yet?
IMO i think it might look better because on the WDP it looks like its missin a bumper (no offense 3rdgenhybrid, its just my opinion), on a NBP it would stick out more and look better. If I had the money I would try it out

The only thing that could make the NBP look better is a complete coating of ASM !!
