so i came home with no trophy from hoinda day =[ .. i mean my competition wasnt even that bsd .. except the tl that did win had a busted up nexterior and wheels, i by far had the cleanist tl there in my opinion. its a shame to see that some people dont take care of their cars. oh well better luck next time (:

A lot of shows are biased. Don't let it get to you. My mother took her show car to a local "import" car show once and lost to a busted ass Celica, when she never even has dirt on the underbody of her

Man this thread has lots of Hostility, Y cant we all be kind to one another, reply with kindness, and megan coils best, and yes you do need a black roof to top it off, and the rims should be gun metal or gray or lights black looks like theres no rims.

skip the cheap tinted tail lights and let me make you a custom set, as well as black out your headlights.

the TL has become affordable to the younger generation so i suspect we will have alot more post like these in the future. I already for see some horrible builds coming along. So with that being said, wheel specs look good but i hope they are going to be aggressive offsets. The wheel color on the other hand is not my cup of tea. Like CLtotheTL32 said wheels without a drop looks terrible. If you are focusing on racer/import look than i would focus on suspension first, than engine mods. But with the sound system going in that will be just added weight, so you are actually contradicting your intent focus of going for the racer/import look.Im 17 and i have a TL and i dont sass people like that lol if anyone has suggestions i really consider them since they actually know what they are saying haha

o sheiitt! we're the same, kinda. i'm 19 and just bought a white TL-S. the only thing i've done to it was get a injen intake and i painted my grill. i used plasti-dip and clear coat. and to top it all off i buffed the shit out of it to get the shine. That's one route, but now im debating on if i should vinyl it. it's much easier, not as messy, and there's very little chance of error.

I would get megans just being tein is great too but its a little more money. The great thing about tein is that you can control the damper mechanically but the unit is about $350. I personally leave them as is because I don't race on the mountain/track or need to change it often.
