Yes, much cleaner without the stripping.

Get your HFL done, but the Aspec Kit on a Base TL makes even more difference in the look of your car than the "no-pinstripe" look!

I agree, yep...def. a plan. I will have the lip, might go for a roof spoiler as well. Topped with a mild drop and I think we'll be in business.

I never thought about a roof spoiler before then I ran across a recent thread talking about different suppliers and fitments......next time I looked at my car I thought.....yeah, must have.

I have an '07 WDP and I'm watching your thread carefully. I really want to see your car with the roof lip spoiler and A Spec front.

Nice looking car ohsixMtee! I'm kinda in the same boat. I've never modded a car before though. I have an '07 WDP Base and I'm watching this thread carefully. Already started modding this past wknd. Had the windows tinted, debadged the back end and installed tinted rear side markers. Going to do the front side marjers ASAP, as I ran out of time. I also have to clean up the area where the badges were a bit more...as you can still see acura and faintly TL. (gonna get some rubbing compound this wknd)

Thanks! It sounds like yours is pretty clean as well. Things have sort of been on hold lately....well, not really on hold. I promised myself I would only blow "extra" money on the car for fun stuff. lol

Next up I will be changing my side engine mount, serpentine belt and a few engine covers due to broken plastic clips and then I will work toward my roof spoiler and aspec front lip.

As far as your badge residue IMO rubbing compound might be a bit harsh. I would just use scratch/swirl remover, don't be afraid to give it some elbow grease. After you're happy with the results do the same thing with either Polish or Wax.

Thanks mine is pretty clean. And I use it for commuting 2miles to and from work. And occasional trips to softball and such. Nothing big really. But I do want to make it look a bit better...even though I really love the styling of it as is....it needs a little more or my own touch I guess. (sorry for posting twice on your thread. I thought it didn't post and then it did and I couldn't erase it.) Oh ya, I was thinking about using something like that i.e fine scratch remover. I'll have to try that first. Thanks!! I'm ordering the trunk lip today! I have the LED's for the rear back up and license plate coming. Fun stuff! Small but fun and doable by me.

I hear ya, giving a new to you car a little bit of your personality feels great.

No worries, when I first came here I posted time after time until I realized how to simplify things.

2 miles? Geez, I commute roughly 70 miles a day. Ah well, drive that shit. lol

Nice, I was on the fence about a trunk spoiler but I think with a front lip and roof spoiler things might flow pretty good....either way I do like the trunk lip spoiler.

License plate LEDs just give things an updated look, that was one of my first changes....you'll love it at night. White LED plate bulbs go with the HID front lighting perfectly.

I still need to get some proper pictures as well, every time I take my wife's Canon I forget to take it off her settings and end up screwing them up. lol

Some more boring maint. Haha, actually I get a thrill out of restoring the car with new Genuine parts.

As always, thank you Ack for saving me an insane amount of money!!

- Genuine side engine mount
- Genuine serpentine belt

(belt is STUPID easy with no side engine mount installed btw....sort of why I did them at the same time plus my old one had some wear down the center)

- oil change

I ALMOST beat the little bit of snow we had, unfortunately I finished up the session by completing the oil change laying on wet cardboard. LOL

Stay tuned, front Aspec lip and roof spoiler coming VERY soon.

I already warned the wife so she's not surprised when she's pissed because I wasted money.....screw it.....my hard earned money to waste.

I've actually been doing really well, haven't been doing much other than maint. and gas. That being said it is time to treat my bitch with something nice. lol
