My SSM 04 TL on 18" Motegi FF5's

I finally settled on these wheels after trying out a set of chromed 17" stock rims for a month. Couldn't get used to the bling factor. Sold those on e-bay last week with the Bridgestones and took the more subtle route.
Check out the picture links below. Opinions?

I will be replacing the "FF5" centercap logos with a Acura wiget logos and painting the splashguards to match the rest of the car. Has anyone had any problems after painting them using flex additive in the paint?

I like them. Your ride looks good. Do you mind telling specs and costs?

Thanks,
-Brandon

Rims look pretty good, but I would get rid of those mudguards if possible.

Just painted the spray deflectors- more pics to follow. Big improvement. Gotta have the deflectors and clear bra because cause I drive by a gravel quarry on the way to work. Tyrone/Fayette Co. GA. doesent sweep the roads enough and could care less. The car did look good while I had them off while getting them painted. To anyone thinking about removing deflectors for good get them off as soon as possible to prevent paint damage underneath from deflectors chaffing.

Tire/rim specs & cost to anyone interested
At Kauffman Tire/Metro Atlanta:
Motegi FF5 rims 18x8 5:100/5:114 37ET Hyperblack : $ 189.99 ea.
Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S P235/40ZR18 91w : $ 151.00 ea.
mounted and balanced before GA fees and tax: $1363.00
looks I get after my upgrades: priceless

I can't believe how small 18's look on the TL. It's a tough decision with this car because the low tires on 19's are too easy to damage.

How did you paint the splashguards? Do it yourself or take to a paintshop? What kind of special paint do they use?

My local ABRA Body and Paint shop. Removed them myself, had them back the next day!
Discussed what I wanted, they took a picture of my the bar code sticker on the front door jam and another of a painted section of the car. I spoke to the painter to be sure he used flex additives. They cleaned and prepped the guards. No guarantee included, but I was reassured as long as they dont hit anything big I should not get any cracking or peeling.
