My New TL-S

Hello all, I'm new here and I got my TL-S last Monday. I'm glad to be part of the Acura family! This car is amazing! Speaking of the Acura family, here are some pics with my brothers 2nd gen (he's badazzTL on here). Enjoy!

We would both take them off, but unfortunately they are required in VA. I almost got a ticket for mine being off once, so I put it back. Not really worth it.

I to live in Virgina, I had my front plate holder painted to match my 06 ASM. It looks so much better than having it black.

Last Monday is when I picked up my own TL-S 6MT.

Not that I'm biased, but you made an excellent decision(!)

What did you use to paint it? Can you provide details? Thanks.

Both cars are very nice, very nice indeed... i LOVE the TL-S grille... it makes my mouth water lol - I'm an A-Spec guy myself though (kinda have the whole A-Spec 06 vs 07 TL-S debate in my head every once in a while lol)... Have you thought about mounting the '07 A-Spec kit on yours?

PS - I know how u feel about the front plate - i got pulled over in NY for not having one, but I argued my way out of it bc i still have my FL tags on and he was like "yeah, alright - move on"

Man at 17 you should just erase all memories of this forum and enjoy your bone stock TL-S just the way it is. Your parents have already done enough, let them add to your college fund so you can one day pay them back for their generosity

I test drove a 6MT Type-S this week. The continuous torque-steer in 1st was off-putting, and the car's steering was so violently different from the 6MT TL I drove during the summer that I suggested to the salesman that perhaps the alignment or tire balance was off. There was only 8 miles on the car, and perhaps it had not been fully prepped, but one car was a BMW salesman's answer to a prayer and the other, his worst enemy.

Still doing better than I did, My first ride was a 1982 Ford Taurus. It wasn't an SHO, but it was definitely a POS!

Back on topic though, the TL-S is sweet. I love these cars more and more with every post.

Lol no man I'm not jealous, I'm happy for my bro. I had my time, now it's his turn to enjoy his car. I know he'll take care of his just as I took care of mine. Besides, I put plenty of miles on his Type-S already

I almost got the 07 TL-S but instead I bought toyota tundra because it's more practical for my home depot run (for the joy of owning home). I still have my CL-S though as my weekend car.
