Congrats on your new TL. Nice combo of colors! I thought CAMEL was much darker? Maybe it's the lighting. I think you should feel the wood shifter and compare it to leather shifter. Decide which one has a better grip for your hand. Does Oakland of Acura have a good selection of TL's?

Congrats on your purchase and thanks for the comments! My sentiments exactly!
BTW, if you like Jazz and Blues, check out "Watercolors" on XM. Not only are the tunes nice and relaxing, it has a great sound!

Thanks to all for the feedback. XRistos, I'll address your question in a reply to your private message. Briefly, their stock on TL's is low but they did a great job of tracking vehicles expected in and called me when this one was hitting the door...great delership.

. nevertheless the TL is gorgeous in any color. congrats on your new toy and may it bring as much happiness as it has with everyone else in the forum

Do you have any more of those pics...green/camel combo? I think I am leaning towards that, but haven't seen many photos of it. Closest dealer to me doesn't have any on lot. And have you been happy with your choice?

Not a Blowhole
Tnaks - Nice pics, but it really doesn't do the DGP justice - the color varies quite a bit depending on ambient light, dusnny or overcast, angle of the sun, etc.
I have the green over camel myself, and the combo is striking. I love the DGB for its chameleon effects, all of which look classy and elegant, and set the car apart from all the others. I also like how the green paint and the green windown tint make the car look so integrated.
I think when all is said and done, the DGP will be a sleeper color, and should do very well in the re-sale world, due to limited supply. For me, the "would you do it again?" test tells a lot - for me, the answer is absolutely!
Try a copuple of photos and dawn or dusk - that is when most car phtography is done.
Thanks again!

Wood Shifter
I have a Redondo Red TL with the Camel Interior. I recently installed Acura's Wood Shift Knob. Unfortunately, I don't have photos I can post. I can tell you that it really compliments the look of the interior - such a classy touch. The shape and feel of the knob are somewhat different from the standard leather shifter. The wood know is much wider and allows a better grip, IMO. I thought I'd share this info with everyone.
