Just picked her up last month - had to wait a few weeks for the color and I still haven't seen another Type-S in southern California.

I'm in OC and have only seen one other NBP Type-S, but it seems like a lot of people have been buying Type-S's lately.

They are 17 inches. You know I wasn't doing backflips when I first saw the pics of the Type-S rims online, but they look pretty nice in person.

The first thing people compliment me on when they see the car is the rims -- it happens a few times a week. In my opinion they look great with a couple colors, one of which is the Carbon Bronze, although I was a little worried there would be do much gray in the beginning, but once I saw them in person I was sold.

I have the NBP too and i love how the wheels look on my TL-S. The wheels give the car a blacked out look.

 

Hey man-

You may be the guy I saw on Devonshire and DeSoto a month ago. Fot the same car on Nov 17 in AZ and just moved back to the valley. Love the Carbon Bronze Pearl and matching rims. One bad ass car all around!!!!!

The sweet thing is that I don't ahve a front plate cuz it was bought in AZ. I'll work on the upload. PS I'm in Sherman Oaks and just saw a white TLS yesterday.

i think i'm one of the first if not only person to own the 2007 TL type-S in queens NEW YORK.
i haven't seen a type-S at all.. i see alot of TL's but no type-S..
couple of people actually came up to the side of my car and asked, "what kind of car is this?"
i have my car in BLACK.
i dont think i'll mod my car since the car itself is already nice to look at...

if any of you are in the NEW YORK Queens area, and u see a type-S, give me a honk..

 

Nope, haven't been out that far on the 101 for a few weeks. Sounds like there's another S out there. I still haven't seen another one in the Valley!

 

Looks great - especially without any snow around it! I picked up the twin to your car 5 weeks ago. Unfortunately the color on mine is now "salty CBP". Impossible to drive around in Wisconsin in winter without collecting a pound of salt on the body. Worst part is you can't wash the car when the temp's are around 0.

I personally am not 100% sold on the wheels yet. I agree that they look best on the CBP (and on the WDP IMO). I still wish they would have put the 18" A-Spec wheels on the S.

 

Anyone interested in meeting at a park or something like that to go for a ride... No not a gay thing... LOL Let's all get together. 2007 TL-S owners only. Anyone interested? I'm in Sherman Oaks. Where is everyone else?

PS - Carbon Bronze Pearl is the best looking because the wheels match. I get comments all the time and Gen 4 TL drivers pulling up beside me all the time...
