My NBP detailed

I just finished detailing my car over the weekend. The steps I took were.. Bug/Tar front end and mirrors, wash, Mothers clay bar detailer, wash, Meguiars NXT paste wax, buffed with 10" buffer.

Thanks for all the great comments guys Here are some more pictures I took of the car after spending 4hrs working on it. It was my first time using a clay bar and 10" buffer and I am really happy with the results

Hey thanks for all the great feedback guys! As for putting a clear bar on my car hehe. Well I know it helps out a lot with chips but with it on the paint has too much of an "orange peel" look to it. And on black cars the cut off line is very visible after a little dust. Ironically it would serve me good because 90% of my driving is all highway. I do get lots of stone chips but I just touch them up with my handy NBP pen

Wowwy! That is some serious shine there! Looks great!

How many coats of wax did you put on? I am looking for some good wax. This has definitely helped.

Now its the truck's turn. At least wash it.

I only applied 1 wax coat, but this time I tried something new. Since I had my friends 10" buffer at my disposal I put a very thick coat of NXT on the car. I also didn't do sections at a time but instead I applied the wax to the whole car first (giving it a long dry time). Then I buffed it out or at least tried too It seems like I put too much wax on the car and the buffers terry cloth got full after buffing 1 quarter and there was still a lot of wax left! I only had 3 10" terrys and I used them all and I buffed the rest of the wax by hand. Then I went over everything with a 10" microfiber and gave it a final buff.

I think next time I'll stick to thin coats of wax because removing all that wax was a real pain

Thumbs up Great Job !!!

Very nice indeed. I have a NBP with the Camel Interior as well ('04)

I have used Zaino on mine, but just got the car back from the dealer yesterday after THEY Buffed it out. I complained about my dealers WASH TEAM
spider-webbing all my sweat equity in the finish and they made an
appointment to buff out the surface at their expense. So now I have a
to die for finish that I have to re-protect. But that shine on your TL is the boss.

Thanks again for the generous comments guys

TL42, just wondering where you got your Zaino? I didn't know they sold the stuff here (GTA). I read so much about it on the forums and I definitely would like to try there polish. Thanks in advance
