My luck!!!...sideswiped!!!

What do you know...after weeks of looking for a motorcycle to buy I got up close and personal with one tonight on the way home from work. So I' m on the 91 fwy in traffic and see and opening in the lane next to me coming up. I turn on my left turn signal and just as I check my mirror...BLAM!!! Some a$$hole on a bike trying to ride the lane between me and another car smacks into me. I see him in that opening that I was headed for wobbling on the bike and then...he was gone. A convoy of bikes (15 or so) were cutting through the lanes on the freeway. I find my way to the shoulder to assess the damage and here is what I found...

I was just at work thinking what my next mod would be and how beautiful she sat in the parking lot and now . I try not to wish ill on anyone, but DAMN!!!

Ouch! That sucks man!

Did you call the cops afterwards? Someone could have seen the license plate number of the motorcycle and reported it in. Thats what happened when my gf was involved in a hit and run.

Well, on a good note, your Ron Jon body kit and rims look untouched. Some work at a good body shop and your baby will look like new again.

Good luck with the insurance!

I hate when they do that and then are always bitchin that drivers don't look out for riders but if they respect the road they won't get hit. I almost destroyed one the other day because he was doing stupid shit like that

In most states it is perfectly legal for motorcycles to ride between cars like that, however, they are only allowed to do that when traffic is at a stand still.... The fact that he hit you and kept going is inexcusable. While I rode motorcycles for many years, I was never one to ride between cars like that, simply because I didn't trust the people driving the cars not to do stupid shit like open their door or throw shit out the window. I know one guy who had a cigarette thrown in his lap while doing that, burnt him pretty good before he could get it off....

Well it goes in the shop tomorrow and I get to pick one of Enterprise's lovely POS. I hope it wont take long, but their gonna have to repaint half the car and that worries me with matching. I'll see if they could just spray the whole thing since its there I'm still pissed about it, especially today when I was on the fwy coming home and saw a few more bikes passing by. When is the mega meet?...nevermind Oct 29th. Not to take away, but anyone heard about the Lexus drive this weekend in So Cal?

Sorry about what happens. It's suck when you see your baby get damage. Hope your insurance gonna take care everything.
It's amaze to me seeing some people driving motocycle very careless. Just the other day, North bound 5 Interstate near CA-2 had an accident between big truck and guess what? with a motocycle. Not sure if the motocycle got serious injury or not, but when I pass by, he was laying down with someone holding his head! Don't know who fault but driving motocycle is much more dangerous and easy getting an accident.

Well that cars in the shop and Enterprise hooked me up with a 2006 Chevy Cobalt . Im bout ready to trade in the Chevy at the local dealership for some sort of comfort and TLness. The only good thing about this car is it is an auto so I can rest from shifting for the next 2 weeks in traffic.

Ron Jon is fine, that was the first thing my wife asked about when she saw the damage. Glad to see her take my modding to heart.
