The wheels were a headache to fit, my car needs one fender redone since I had a accident and they did a HORRIBLE job... The rear is sitting waaaaaaay to high, I need to camber more and do an alignment before I cant slam it more..

I did everything today, grind my inner fender, do the book trick(whoever is familiar with it) and ALOT of rolling.

REMEMBER THIS IS NOT THE FINAL STAGE, NEEDS MORE WORK!

Anyone recommends a camber kit?

enjoy:

Buddies helping me out..

phone book trick with my biology book lol.

Kinda how I want it to look

WAAAAAY to high in the back, I cant wait to slam it

Agree with the ugh on the 215 and 235.
Should be 235 up front and at least 255 in the back to do it right and make it look good. Why would anyone buy wheels that are more wide then stock and then put tires less wide then stock on them?!

Wow! Phonebook trick ruined those quarters! Get a fender roller and do it right! but those wheels do look sick!

Thats my buddies car and he is selling but wants to sell everything (wheels, air) since his fenders are super pulled and the stock wheels and everything stock would look weird with the fenders.
Ahhh, Sergs' car. That has to be one is the nicest and cleanest A4 I have ever seen in MIA. He should not sell it Ive told him, now he wants another car, I guess teh EURO Seen is not enough for him.

I'm not slammed and stanced like you are but I've had good luck with the Ingalls camber kit. Contact Marcus at HeelToe and see what he has to say.

The phone book trick was actually REALLY affective and it gave the fender the correct motion for the fender, I have an eastwood fender roller check out how the front came out perfect, it was just one int he rear cuz of an accident.

Also the stretched tires is better for more clearance on a drop, if there was no stretch you cannot go as low as you want without fender hitting the tire.

Its not for everyone lol.

I can't imagine how much better that would look if you either:

Put the appropriate size tires on those wheels
Picked an appropriate size wheel for your car. 10.5" on the rear? Hell, I didn't put wheels that wide on the rear of my GTO.

Car does look good, but I personally think you're an idiot for running 215s on a 9.5. I would shit my pants on any sharp turn. And you should too.

The Genesis looks ridiculous, your boy did a great job on that.

The S2k looks horrible with that fitment, your boy did a horrible job on that.

there are a bunch of tl's here w/ "correct" tire size. Then there are the few brave souls who put 10.5 in the rear. If there was a bunch of stock TLs poppin up... what fun would that be?

I don't post "nothing but negativity" His setup would look infinitely better if the wheels fit the car, and he didn't beat his fenders to a pulp to fit them on. That's a gorgeous wheel, and matches the car great, but IT DOESN'T FIT.

Are you going to be sympathetic when he blows a tire out and crashes the TL, or are you going to take the rational approach and think to yourself that maybe, JUST MAYBE, had he had an appropriate wheel and tire setup, his car might be a bit safer.

Form does not have to come at the expense of function.

I agree w/ what ur saying.. but many people run stretched tires on really wide wheels daily on many different cars and have never encountered this situation (although, it is possible)

different for different folks - obviously they arnt driving 100+mph and carving canyons w/ that setup.. but form is def on their priority list

Its very possible, and it doesn't require high speed or intense driving to realize the inherent risk of driving on a tire that is too narrow for the wheel. Last week I hit a medium sized pothole on the highway, nothing earth-shattering but enough for the rim to get bent enough to lose the seal on the bead. Do that on a tire that is barely holding on as it is, and you've got a broken rim at best, blowout on the highway at worst. Its a gamble, and a stupid one to take at that.
