My first pics, 07 TL-S, wash+clay bar+wax (56k, you know the drill...)

Hey guys, these are my first pics on this site. The TL officially became mine last month when my dad totaled my car, a 1990 volvo 740 that my parents bought the year i was born...so he gave me the TL and bought a new 08 ES 350.

I washed my car a couple days ago with a full clay bar treatment, and one coat of traditional wax and one coat of synthetic wax.

My only mods are 35 % tints.
Pics are from a Nikon D40 that I got for my 18th bday.

so clean...u can see us...

my old car...still miss it...

the normal wax was the mothers wax that comes with the mothers clay bar kit.
the synthetic wax was the turtle wax ice liquid wax.

be sure u apply the normal wax first, then synthetic

Looks good. You have a nice slate to start from. I see you reppin the Kandha too. Looks good

What makes you lean to the aspec suspension? If I recall correctly there is not too much of a difference between the aspec and Type S suspension. Somebody correct me if I am wrong

thanks, the reason im thinking of aspec is because you get the kit, rims, and lowered an inch.

Hey by the way, what is that pendant you have hanging from your rear view? I've seen it but never knew what it meant or stood for I mean.

It's the symbol for the Sikh religion just like Christians have the cross.

Nice wax job, makes me want to go wax my nbp type s too now lol

thanks, not so sure about the smear thing though...

yea its a religious symbol, the two outside swords represent the dual nature of our relegion, spiritual, and temporal. the middle sword is double edged, again emphasizing the duality. and the circle in the middle is called a chakar, or chakra (u know, xena had one) it represents what goes around comes around, or karma.

I have an NBP too. About the A-Spec, since you dont have a base TL it is better to save some money and buy the body kit and Rims seperately, the suspension might not have a lot of difference.

I can see why you miss the Volvo, we have an S60 and i adore it.

Man, your NBP looks very clean and nice. Congrats. Keep her that way and she'll return the favor. You make me want to redo the job again on my car. Anyway I plan to clean & wax the body, and clean & refresh the leather inside next month.

thanks for the love guys.
as for mods, im probably goin to get headlights blacked out w/ angel eyes by the end of the summer (that deadline will probably be pushed back).
a cai, new rims (rj legends), and an aspec body kit are also attractive options.
of course lowering it. teins maybe???
