Karizma--"A" on fenders need to go AND remove the "type-s"

Would you rather be ridiculed on this board or while you're driving down the road.

Set your pride aside and listen to your fellow TL'ers!

Best news I've heard today. I actually cringed when I saw those badges. Otherwise, good luck matching up the wood.

they just looked stupid, it took me a while to see it, thats all. your right though, i love the people with the gaudy ugly chrome rims on their TL. But hey, i've always been the one to say, to each their own.....

The blue logos on the wheels look cool. Nice and tasteful.

However, gotta agree with others on the Acura badge on the fenders and type S badge that you had on the car. Those looked cheap and don't befit a car of this class. Also, I'm not a fan of the extra wood trim around the center controls. I do like the color combo of you car though.

Congrats on the TL.

MAAAAAAAAN DAMN! Guess you didn't realize you have another power outlet in the center console that allows the cord to come up through to the first compartment. THAT JOB THAT YOU'VE DONE IS WACK! AS HELL.

Everyone is entilted to thier own opinion and say what they want.

But to the owner of the car, it's your car and you can do whatever you want. To each is own.

You know, I really relate with having people on the forum saying things they don't need to in a very rude manner. For me, it's my age. A lot of people assume things about me and therefore I get flamed, oh well. Honestly though Karizma, no worries. You know why? It's your car. Whatever makes you smile when you see the car is your preference. I think that maybe some of the members on the forum don't realize that as TL owners we are a community and instead of totally bashing someone it should be seen more as recommendations I mean c'mon now. It's like driving down the street and seeing an ugly Civic with everything possible done to it and cringing and yelling HEY YOUR CAR IS F*(WER(# UGLY A*HOLE! I see this case as worse. Anyways Karizma, I'm glad you debadged because that honestly took away from the class that the TL naturally possesses stock. However, as long as you have pride in your car, no matter what you'll do is fine.

Also, I got a question for you. How's the light setup with blue domes? I was thinking of doing that for maybe the backseats of my car but I felt like it would overpower the blue accents that acura added stock. I have 2 Blue w6 bulbs in the door panels, and 4 white leds in the domes.

I can totally understand why you wanted the badges!! In fact, I think it's great that you wanna be different, because everything in this world (including the 75,000+ TL's on the road) is the same. However, if you REALLY didn't like them, and you went by your own opinion (not the people who flamed you here), and still took them off, good for you! I agree with everyone else that the wheel badges do look nice, and they're something that makes your car special.

Good Luck with Future Accessories!!!

yeah i got tired of them thats all. nothing big.

the blue led's arent too bad in the back--but i sometimes feel i dont have enough light (like in the trunk). so i think im going to purchase the bright white led's as well, just to see how it works out.

It needs something to provide balance in the lower left. Perhaps a "Grand National" badge?

what is a Grand National badge?

Would you settled for an IROC Z badge?

From a Buick Grand National (mid-80s regal with a turbo motor, see link below). An IROC-Z badge would work too.

I'm still a little bit groggy from this weekend's festivities... I'll look at it later, I'll probably laugh. Now all it needs is a Mopar badge or F1 flag or hmmm....what about neon green racing stripe, make that 2!

Hey man, just a public apology here, Sorry if I came across as an ass, i wasn't really tying to make fun of your car or situation. I was just responding to mobilezen's prodding.

you see, i do a lot of photoshop, and love modify pictures...no harm intended.

The good thing is... you have a nice car, and if you want to remove the badges (or put more on) it can be done quickly, and its easy to remove. so there..no harm done right?
