Cool My Anthracite Process

...i thought it would be cool to show my progress from when i first got the TL until now

TL purchase - Nov 5, 2005
- 06 Anthracite TL, non-navi, 5-spd auto, ebony interior, all season floor mats, trunk tray, carbon fiber steering wheel and trims, decklid spoiler
(didn't get to take a stock pic of the TL so i just scanned the calender pic that Acura gives u lol)

Stage 1 - Tint, Interior lighting
- 35% smoked tint, PIAA plasma blue leds for the door panels and above the pull down mirrors, plasma white leds for the top dome lights (sorry didnt take any pics of the interior)

Stage 2 - Front Lip, Drop
- OEM front lip, Tein S-Tech Springs (1.2" front and 1.3" rear, springs are green...COOOOOL!!!)

Stage 3 - Volks
- 18" Volks LE37 Glossy black w/polished lip, Falken FK451 Tires, also at this time i switched to GReddy 5W-30 oil (its blue lol)

Stage 4 - Red Nuts
- Volk Rays Red Lug Nuts w/wheel locks (12x1.5mm, flashy nuts lol)

Stage 5 - Intake
- Fujita Cold Air Intake (came with a cool black duffel bag and hat, also got a NOS drink as well lol)

...i plan on adding more stuff but probably won't be for awhile

Clean ride. I like the black rims with the polished lips; should of went with 19" instead of 18". I had 18" before but made the move to 19", and believe me, the appearance is well worth it! Keep up the nice work. Where are you from? Cali?

...yeah ill probably look into some cheap mods, i don't think ill change the headlights though because i like the amber at night,
...my masterplan at the moment is moving the non-navi screen down to the dash and then put in an LCD, possibly hooked with an Xbox 360, but then again thats gonna be very expensive and i have to find the right person who can do it, but that would be sick though, i don't think its gonna happen anytime soon though lol

...yeah 19's would look great, i guess i just prefer 18's because i would hate to have larger tires and have the risk of rubbing and just the idea of having 19's and curbing them...OUCH!!!, and im from Oregon

Air Intake

Look man, I'm going to have to sneak and get a cold air intake. With the Fujito are there any adjustments needed to the engine and how was the install...did you have to remove the bumper??

Those 18s look surprisingly well on the TL considering those are a dish/lip design. It might be the drop thats making them look so good. 19s would amplify the effect but in your setup im loving it.

Nice intake too, i have the fujita filter on my custom supercharger intake.

Whats next for the car?

...at first it was a very different than stock, wasnt as smooth, but as time went by and it broke in more, it was just as good as stock, later on when i switched tires, it become very smooth and in my mind, better than stock

...my friend installed it for me, wasn't too bad, we did have to take off the bumper, also the instructions said to remove the battery but we didn't have to
