take it from someone who has the smoked out headlights, you really do lose a lot of reflection with it. The amber is still visibile, but it doesn't look as good.

do you have rock blocker or did you crack the lens and paint the housing like pplapw?

i opened up the lens and painted the housing; i think if you do the rock blocker way, you won't lose much brightness in the housing. the reason for this is b/c the housing is a reflective silver, so when i painted over it, it basically doesn't allow for the light to reflect off the silver.

^-wait until it dries and try to chip it off?

I'm going to have to reopen my headlights to fix some of the excess glue marks.

My chrome/amber turn signals came today. Bought them from autolumination.com Shipped to my door for two 7443 chrome amber bulbs was about 10 dollars. Ive installed them and they look great. I will take pictures once it stops raining.

They dont look quite as bright. Its hard to tell since I never really paid attention to the stock blinkers, but when the signal reflected against the wall it seemed like it was a much deeper amber. When I look directly at the bulb when lit, however, its a pretty intense light.

It is a hell of lot darker than the stock bulb when the amber is removed though. When I was driving around with the headlights cleared and no amber bulb it was freaking bright when I signaled...seemed brighter than the damn Mustang headlights.
