No, if anything i would use the money towards an M. I'm just patiently waiting for the 05's to hit $25,000 with a decent amount of miles. I can't justify selling my 05' TL for anything older, regardless of how good of a car it is. I'm also looking for a 6MT coupe, every M being sold is either a gay convertable or SMG

We'll see...I really want to finish up the TL before I do anything though!

No SMG? Why? Im specifically looking for SMG and Nav..... I know some of the 03 and 04 M3's had more technology then our 07-08 TL's. Ex. adjusting xenon lights to the road, auto on wipers etc...

 

SMG's are more problematic than a typical 6 speed manual. I heard once the pump goes out (and they are prone to) it'll set you back almost 2,500 grand I mainly want an 05 because a majority of the kinks have been worked out. Avoid the 01-02 at ALL COSTS, don't even waste your time. The 2003.5 are supposed to be decent, 04's are good, but from what i've heard 05+ are your best bet. Trouble is finding a good one for a good price that was well maintained.

 

You'll love the comptech and CAI....completely changes the sound of the TL. My friend said it sounds like I have a V8 under the hood. I wouldn't take it that far but it does sound really aggressive. Let me know how you like the J-pipe

 

Probably so. I live in the area. Should have left a note. Ive come to the point where I wave or hit my lights at any TL/CL with a driver 18 - 40. Im sure half of them think im nuts.

 

Man sweet ride, im in the silver spring/rockville area.
Only had my tl for about 2 weeks, so I got a lot to do to make mine as nice as yours.
