Mixed Blue/White LEDs
OK, so I had one of my blue LEDs go out in the front overhead map light and thought this was an opportune time to change their color. My wife has never been fond of the blue color when actually using the map light for reading something. Functionally speaking, that is a slight problem, though the blue was pretty sick. So, I went with white LEDs (12-LED from superbright) just to replace the two front map lights and left the others as blue. The photo is a fairly accurate representation of the end result. Personally, I'm pleased with the compromise.

And Tonywp75, I haven't seen any with an ebony interior, but I visualize in my mind you wouldn't have nearly the same effect.

You're welcome. I was just browsing by and noticed the request. ![KeKe](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/keke.gif)
I've personally seen the (hyper) white LED vs. blue LED with the ebony interior. The blues are a definite eye stopper, but the white is very classy. I think I prefer the white in general with any color interior.

I"m assuming you got these lights from tec-toyz or some online site like that..so is it just plug and play once u get it or do you have to do some soldering or some changes in order to get it to work in your car?

You are correct. I haven't seen anyone mentioning soldering. You just swap the LEDs with the originals, though some LEDs will require you to disassemble the car a bit to get to.
