me too! except i have a lot of work to do
Thanks!
hahah.. yeah they sorta annoy me too. Maybe it's good you didn't see my car in person yet
Hopefully I can finish these headlights in a reasonable amount of time.
Thanks!
The paint was originally a 'more grey' color. So I told my painter to mix in a bit of silver paint and add an extra layer of clear coat. So now... in certain lighting conditions the grey/silver will reflect in the light and give a slight purple look. But for the most part it's a grey-gunmetally sorta color
The "CF air pipe" is a CF air duct. The one on my car now as purchased at a local shop. The one I have on my SSM bumper was purchased from eBay.
It was made for the 350z. Stillhere and Accuratein both have one too, I believe they got the "Titek" one. BUT, the angle goes upwards and not downwards.
Not a bad chop! I like the URL name too
The CF air duct is a hate/like thing. I personally like it [plus it's functional once the foglight goes in]. In your case it would be extra functional since your LED blocks more of path than the OE fog.
And heheh... I love the 04-06 lip. I traded my brand new WDP TL-S front A-Spec for it. The base lip had 3 cracks in it and several scuff marks though. But it didn't bother me [and I fixed the cracks anyway].

My pleasure
The color you went with looks terrific!!! your car is indeed unique. I love your car mate
Btw where did you get the CF air pipe, or whatever it is called, that is installed on the front bumper? Every time i look at your car, it makes me want to get that piece, and drill the shit out of my front bumper in order to install it.
Do you think it will look good on my car? LOL

Bought some new toys.
DC5 Arc Magic Wingie Dingies.
The placement of these stickers bother me.
Especially this one... that's practically peeling off.
I mean, look at it! Why? Why would you put this sticker on this angle. Why? WHY?!!!?
I'm unsure if I want to mount them as are. Or replace them with my dinosaur sticker I made.
Or... use these as a template for the custom front-splitter that I've always been wanting to make.
Used [slightly damaged] base tails.
I needed new internals after screwing up the paint with my original pair.
Started this a while ago:
I never posted the update of the fogs because I was ashamed of the mistake I made while modding them. The fogs cost me 75 bucks with 25 to ship, the seller raised it to 110 with 15 to ship and 18 for 'duty free charge'.
So I was being cheap and said hell no to the 40 dollar bump in price.
So... I tried to find a way to fix my foglight issue.
And I did.
The only issue with the fix is that I can't get it at the angle/spot I want it. I initially wanted it slightly pointed outwards... but this will make it straight [and sit further back]. Not to big of a deal I suppose. Was hoping to get a more outward projection since I plan to retrofit my upper fogs as well. More peripheral vision is always good.
Random from I don't know when.
I'm also waiting on a few spoilers to come in, for other members. Can't wait to get working on those! =]

It will be the next thing I do when I'm done with the fogs/grilles! Promise!
Unless I get carried away with something else.......
I was lucky enough to see someone sell it locally! They were from his RSX---Called him three days ago and surprise-surprise he still had them. So I came right after work RIGHT when his store was closing. The guy wasn't there but his other workers were.
Got 'em for $120
I actually didn't REALLY want them. But knowing how hard these things were to find--and knowing I could make something out of them... I had to buy it.
The yellow you see is actually the lens! No painting =] I MIGHT paint the projector-shield black to give it a more stealthy look.
The reflector from the actual fog itself will be black.
And the fog-grilles will go on at the same time as the foglights! Same with the mid-grille [redoing the CF].
I recently stocked up on some supplies. So the sooner I get the fog retro done the sooner the grilles will be done---and the sooner I'll stopped getting for my headlights

Yeah - glad it wasn't just a re-spray of the car; he's doing some custom work too!

Thanks! Don't know if I'll be installing them or not though.
BUT, the modifications after cutting them open are definitely worth it
Thanks! I sure hope it looks better!

^^^ No I meant the fog lights. Sorry I re-read my post and noticed I forgot to even mention what I was talking about. Its in reference to your fog light modification pictures above. Do those just bake apart like the headlights?

I was able to pry apart the lens. It's held by cheap glue, similar to the glue in the headlights.
IF you have eBay ones [or will get them] then I imagine you should be able to pry it apart too.

So, what happens when you leave your car in one spot [by a park] for a while and never use your vanity mirrors?
This...
Spider Eggs... Spider babies.
Murderized at least 80 by hand... another 40 by spray.
Then last Thursday this happened after.
Meh.
Next morning.
Bleh.
Did this at 4am.
No clue how this is going to fit properly with as minimal cutting as possible.
May have already screwed up. Not sure.
Also recently had a few storms.... Some pretty bad. (lots of flood. Trains being stranded. Idiot lawyer driving and possibly-hydrolocking his Ferrari in downtown, then abandoning it to attend to attend a case in Ottawa... etc etc)
My driver low-beam stopped functioning. Which happened sometimes due to moisture getting into my lines. But the TL sat there for literally a week without moving and it's still not turning on. Fudge-balls.
...
Pic of said Ferrari for lulz. Never been a fan of the new Ferraris (I actually only like the F40) but damn... what a waste of a car.
edit: Actually just read the full story [especially where the pic came from]. Lawyer got caught in the moment following other cars. Says he's a car-junkie. Car is just a car and abandoned it because a 'client should never be let down' or something. Good guy---dumb decision in the heat of the moment it seems.

I have a spoiler coming actually!
I'll probably [most likely] will take some photos tomorrow---before sending some packages out
Pulling an all nighter on this one!
Thanks!
HHHMMMMMNNNN, I'm not sure about the wing spoiler...
Maybe if I seen the OEM one in person and maybe on my car
Y'know, I don't think Boston is too far from where my parents live. Just 5 hours away........

thanks a lot dude! More work to come!

also Fleags youre inbox is full so hopefully you see this:
my Skunk2 shift knob was purchased at a local shop. Other than very small modification you need to do the boot it fits and feels wonderful to drive with (minus sub zero temps and scorching heat).
i believe all hondas and acuras use the same thread pitch so you should be okay to purchase any 6spd shift knob for honda/acura

Also this came in yesterday.
Came home to work seeing it. Test fitted it that same night. Currently working on it to make it fit. It's nearly a spot on fitment, just slightly long. I could either leave the length as is or make it adjusted to fit the exact length of the trunk... which I'll probably do.
