Kinda off topic but is BOSS a quality product? A friend of mine was talking about getting a BOSS MP3/CD deck put in his car and asked me about it but I dont think I have ever heard of BOSS before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

I really never liked Boss audio equippment. I've always went with high-end stuff, however, this piece was perfect for the application I needed it for.

You got to school in Nassau...I work at the Massapequa Mall. Do you go out to Deer Park Ave on the weekends? I'm usually up there!

Ride quality is pretty smooth...not rough... Would be alot better if I had used performance shocks instead of the stocks, because its a bit bouncy sometimes

ask your buddy who did the install how he hooked up the audio for the DVD player. I want to know if you are getting 5.1 surround sound off the DVD player!

thanks!

Can you give details on the installation? Did the DVD player just fit perfectly or was ther some shimming or shaving needed? Also, how difficult was it to punch through the back of the armrest for the wiring? did you run power to the trunk from the battery or tap into something in the trunk?

Sorry if I seeming a little needy but I have wanted to do the same and am just trying to get an idea what all i will need to do and if it is easy for me to do myself.

Thanks,
