Ok so i've decided to post this beauty up for sale. I still love the car so if it doesn't sell quick i won't mind. I don't use it every day so it won't be racking up the miles either. I can't guarantee i wont change my mind and decide not to sell but for the moment this is what i will be doing.
Deciding how much to list it for has been hard too. Based on other prices i have seen and the great condition this car is in (inside and out) and all of the extra goodies going with it (supercharger system will ALL supporting mods, 8.5" Gunmetal A-Specs, 19" Avant Garde wheels) i think $12,500 is a fair price. If you think its a fair price let me know...if you think its a high price keep it to yourself...haha.
I'm going to give it a great detailing and get it ready for some serious pics with my buddy and his DSLR (hopefully this weekend) that i will use for the sale posting (of course i'll post those pics here as well). Much appreciated!! Not to sound cocky but i agree with you 100%, i too believe that Rockstar and I have 2 of the nicest & cleanest TL on AZ these days. Although over the years there have been some other "legends" i would never compare to (jptl04 comes to mind). Whoever gets these cars when we're done with them will get very well maintained and classy modded cars. Actually i think someone who is starting to mod there 3G could buy this car, swap everything over and sell it for a good price.
Reality is the decision is tough because i still love the car but i honestly would prefer someone else to enjoy it rather than to see it just sitting there waiting for a drive once a week.
Good thing is whoever gets it still has plenty of things they can do to get their mod bug on. No audio mods have been done. There are plenty of other wheels that look awesome one these cars (good thing is their backup set are 8.5 A-Specs). Intercooler for supercharger would be a good addition. Airbags for those that like them.
The other good thing is my supercharger kit is an solid as they come...ALL the supporting mods. O2 sensor, Flashpro conversion/tune, meth injection, bigger injectors, PCDs. It is tuned nicely by Vittuned...no hesitation or surging (like it would have come from the factory). From the list of mods you can tell only the good stuff has been used as well.
So here she is on the way to pick up the refinished bumper.
And her current status (so fresh and so clean). Gonna try to find some time tomorrow in between the endless honey-do list to clean it and put on the A-Specs for a while. Pics coming soon if time permits.
Looks great...you had to re-dremel for the fogs on the new bumper? Out of curiosity, why didn't you have them NBP the front grill too? Do you plan to drop back to the silver at some point (assuming it's plastidip).
Also, thanks a lot for the compliment. My car isn't very clean in person, sadly, but I appreciate the love.
Its my same old bumper but refinished. I dont think i'll ever go back to the silver grill (too much of a distraction up front in my opinion). Plastidip is the best to avoid rock chipping.
Yeah i dont think they prepared the surface too well when i had it done. I also dig the contrast of the non-glossy plastidip. Actually for a while i considered painting some part of the grill to match the non-glossy grey part on the bottom of the A-Spec lip but i never went ahead with it.
LOL...every time I do though, within a week I end up putting the advan back on. Plus, the aspecs kinda need tires. Not bad now, but I wouldn't trust them for the rainy season.
