this guy is inspiring me to go this low.. Too bad i dont have this much money to spend on the car. =(

He's on Zeal Coilovers... I've seen his car rolling around in person and its just nuts..

He was rolling so low that he was rolling around with 1 exhaust in San Francisco.. you might be asking "What do u mean?" Well, he was so low that when he made a turn up on the hills in SF, his exhaust got torn off. lol.

yea, it sucks. SO iguess he only parted it out huh? I thought for the longest time that he sold it. I remember seeing him rolling in at Oakridge while i was going to work and i look at my rearview mirror and first thing that came to mind was. HOLYSHIT he's slammed... I fell in love.

Tell Larry to slam his car! He's too high right now, lol.

you forget to factor in static camber when you ride slammed. I have -4 degrees of negative camber on my rear and -2 on the front

what is static camber??? I was doing some research and -4 is.. well. NICE, but dam, u must be putting new tires on every month or two.. What's your toe set at? I heard this dude runnig -7 Camber in the rear and been running for 7 months with the right toe dialed in. Dude said his tires were still fresh w/ no camber wear what-so-ever...

does he drive the car? i ran -4.2 camber with a 17mm poke when i had my gt-v and i started seeing some camber wear after 2000 miles, not too bad of course i can still use the tires toe was 0.3 btw.

and ridding that low with coilovers on a DD is just too much, there's a line... and if u cant even enjoy your car without worrying too much is just stupid. unless its a show car then it shouldn't be in this thread

yea, i checked his car out when he was parked up where we park our cars. Did u ever come with him to de anza? One of my friends told me he saw a white slammed 3rd gen with a-spec lip kit and the first thing that popped in my head was you, but i don't remember hearing larry telling me that you went to DE anza.. One other white 3rd gen is tucking tire too, on a-specs.. he's on the forums and parks at the handicap at de anza.

We should get a shoot goin on. I might take the rear pearch out in the rear and just take off the bottom perch and the gold o-Ring so i can go as low as possible in the front.

haha i dont go to de anza, im over at evc. but its possible i was driving in the area. im down for some meets but i JUST raised my car a bit. i miss being slammed already but it was just getting to be too difficult. I couldn't make right hand turns and i couldnt get gas. I tried one time and the driveway was a wall to my lip and i fucked it up bad. for the past 3 weeks ive been having friends drive me to a gas station every other day to fill up a gas can and funnel it into my car. haha the life of a G on a side note, my car should be complete in about 6 months if you got any meets planned for summer time..ill have some crap cellphone pics of the slammage some time soon

this is what you do.. I learned this from Erik's post on Clublexus..

-U bring a peice of wood to get on top of so you can go over the driveways to the gas station.

-Fill up your gas at 12AM

Your car is white, right?

Cars natural tendency to camber in the lower it goes. so a -2 (max) camber kit, might be actually -4 or more once the car is lowered to the ground. all cars do this. i don't have a camber kit in my rear and its -4 naturally. My Toe is ZERO all 4 corners though

BTW JDMITR. running 10 inch wide wheels on the rear on my car slammed is not without its drawbacks. on those BIG driveways you have to go Hella sideways on, my Rim doesn't clear my coilovers totally the inner part of the rim scraps on the bottom perch of the megan coilovers. If i had less camber it would clear fine, but im running 245/35/19 tire on a 19x10 +31 offset wheels with rolled fenders, and i tuck tire, i have about 2 or 3 mm clearance from my tires to my fenders

because of camber wear none yet for the rear. but the front is a different story, ive gone through 2 sets of tires, not because of camber but because of potholes, damn tires got bubbles in them.
do not get Falken FK452 if you plan to stretch tires on your wheels, They do not stretch for SH#T ive had soo much problems with those tires its insane. The sidewall is supposed to be stiff because it supposed to protect from camber wear, and bubbling, BUT the downside is that they are soo stiff when you stretch the tire it causes extra stress on the sidewall leaving it more vulnerable. i've had a set of general exclaim UHP in the rear for over a year now and they hold up great!!

Im probably going to get generals in the front again, OR federals, i hear from alot of tire gurus they handle stretch well

Yea, federal's can stretch. My drifter buddy has them on his 240 and he said he's satisfied with them. I have nothing but FK452's on my stockies and my two fronts, but they cost a grip!!. Aren't FK452's more luxurious? THey feel pretty good, compared to my eagle F1's summer tires that did this to me..

federals are what they are, cheap rubber. drifters don't need grip they want less...

fk452, toyo t1-r are best for stretching

the grass and the huge body kit is kind of deceiving, but I do know megans go pretty low and you are tucking tire so that's pretty good
