liking the Koni's

"WOW", is just about the only word i can think of to show my complete and utter pure satisfaction I have with my current suspension set up. I wouldn't have committed to this if it wasn't for a fellow member I met on this very site that provided crucial guidance.

SET-UP: had the !" Eibach Pro Series for couple years and didn't like the "gap" it left in the front of the car. After searching frantically for a solution and foregoing the costly coilover intro, I came to this current set-up: Koni Yellow Adjustable perch struts w/ Eibach Pro Series. IT SOLVED MY PROBLEM. not only did it solve my problem, I can adjust my ride quality and not compromise having to "slam" the car.

I now have roughly 1.6" drop front (Koni Yellow struts w/ 1" Eibach Pro Series) and 1" drop rear (sitting on Eibach springs w/ stock struts). I absolutely love it, both cosmetically and ride quality!!!

BEFORE: NOTICE THE FRONT GAP...

AFTER: KONI'S W/ ADJUSTABLE STRUTS ON ITS LOWEST PERCH SETTING...

rooki, that looks great. A perfect drop. It sounds like it was really worth the investment.

everything you need to know....

rest assured brother, rims are in good hands

Just to throw some military jargins around:
my thinking 4 not replacing rear struts w/ koni is K.I.S.S. method. Keep-It-Simple-Stupid, why fix something not broken? I to was wondering by not installing Koni all round may/may not affect ride quality. after the alignment, there was no ackward variable introduced and the ride itself was flawless. However, applying the 7-P rule(Proper-Prior-Planning-Prevents-Piss-Poor-Performance), I plan on purchasing rear koni just in case "Murphy" decides to pay a visit.

Install took about 4 hrs(mainly due to my inexperience and wanting to do it right the first time) DIYs in this site are spot on. Anyone planning on doing this mod, replace your stock cambers w/ adjustable Ingalls(FYI: uninstall the upper control arm-makes it extremely easy to "pop" the ball joint out using camber kit). PM me if you need additional advice on install.

here's the site I went to purchase struts: the site has a excellent sale for all 4 struts and springs- you can browse and decide for yourself.
http://www.neuspeed.com/products/pro...port&p_id=1935

If u need cambers, just do a search for Ingall Adjustable Camber Kit on Ebay there's a whole slew of them, make sure its the one for lowered cars. Further guidance can be provided, PM me.

Cost: the front two Konis went for $315 and Ingall Cambers are $139/pair.

rims are AXIS HIROs 19"X8.5 235/35 all around. bought the rims from EVOLICARUS for excellent price $1300 w/ Tires. Rotors are: IRotors slotted/drilled.

short answer yes. had camber wear on my tires and knowing lowering it even more will put the OEM camber measurement at its extreme end of acceptable settings. cambers now are at 0.00 degrees vice plus or minus 0.56 degrees what it was at initially.

Hey Jordan your car looks perfect with the Koni yellows now, I also contacted Gerzand for some advises too, I only have one question, I'm thinking in getting the race springs 2.2F & 2.0R do you think I can adjust them to be 2.0F and 1.75R with the koni or you think I should get the sport ones that are 1.75F & 1.5R and adjust them to what I want which is 2.0F & 1.75R?

It is needed if you want even tread wear on your tires. Better safe than sorry..

OP, the car looks great but once you can, invest in the rear struts, do it. I have Koni yellows on the bottom perch front and rears are on the middle perch with H&R sport springs. The handeling was ok on the soft setting but when I dialed all four in, man this car handles sick.
