Who didn't see this coming? The guy started kissing everyone's ass who would let him from the first day he joined the forum.

This guy has been shady since day one. He only cared about his best intentions and putting/keeping money in his pocket. There has been NUMEROUS instances where he has proven this.... over and over again.

For those of you who still want the decals, buy from Glenn or the new member that is making them. I've personally met Glenn several times and this guy one hundred percent stands behind his work.

So, is Glenn SICK TLS? if so, he's asking for a ban too, being a non-supporting vendor and all....

I was more so referring to the fact that he always works on my car. Nothing really to do with the forum. I've known him for quite some time.

As for the decals, I don't think he has even started making them. Correct me if I'm wrong.

even though I was the one that wrote in this thread about my experience with him, I still do not feel that banning him indefinitely was the right decision. I did not intend to get him banned in any way and the thought of it never crossed my mind.

I do not know if the reason for the sudden ban has to do with anything else besides my bad experience, but I surely hope my only complaint wasn't the reason for it.

All I intended to do was notify the AZine community about my past experience with him.

I hope a admin or moderator will think it over and let him back.

As for people saying it's only "he said she said" you're wrong. Like I stated before I have the emails I sent back and forth to him. I'm sure no one here is interested in reading it all so I won't post it unless I'm asked to.

You are not the only person he has screwed over. He was also banned from the BM for 6 months for other reasons.

I know cause it happened to me

On a side note. I think I have a domes decal laying around somewhere. Free if anyone wants it! Haha

I hate to say I told you so, so I won't

Sorry. Had to.

Cheers.

Yes, Astro I am Glenn aka Sick TLS. I cannot be considered a vendor as I have not started making the decals, domed or otherwise. Sorry if there was any confusion. I would prefer not to be banned, thank you . When i do get up and running I will contact Ron, Steven, or you to create a vendor account. Thanks

to be clear for everyone about Aaron/Sharksbreath. He was not banned for the customer complaints/he said-she said stuff. He was banned for lying directly to me about his running of a business within the community, while no longer paying vendor fees.

There will be zero consideration given for anyone whom I catch in a bold faced lie. None.

Stirring shit here but where? He sells them on multiple Acura/TL facebook pages and still has his website up. Where was he selling them here? It's his fault that this Acura/TL community is so tightly knit across multiple channels?

John Q Public sees them on Facebook. JQP buys them. See's an old thread about them here. JQP comments. Is that abusing a non-vendors status? Obviously you are implying it is because the only thing that changed today compared to two days ago is someone commenting on issues.

I'm not fighting for Aaron in the slightest here. I'm just trying to understand. I know some of you have a past.

I for one have always hated how azine treats members that perform or sell things on the side.

The only way I can put it is this, Advertising on a bilboard (having a thread in the vendor section) is a paid way of advertising.

Saying I sell this on facebook or on a website and people finding you on this site and asking do you sell X and you say yes I sell X is NOT USING THIS SITE TO SELL SHIT.

And this is no way in defense for Sharksbreath. It's me hating people taking advantage of others to make a profit which is what is happening when you demand vendor fees from people NOT having anything advertised on your site.

I perform work on the side rolling fenders and mechanical work and do remote starts and have done tons of work for friends and acquaintances. Should I be afraid of the ban hammer because someone might find out I am one and the same with my advertising on another site and PM me here to ask a question?

If I don't actively have a thread selling something on this forum or go into every thread asking people to buy things I am NOT a vendor, and should not be required to pay a vendor fee like the large companies selling lots of product.

Thanks

I have had a very similar experience myself. I worked on my friend's 370z headlights and he posted them on the 370z forums. Gradually, more and more members on that forum started coming to me for work which gave me a good amount of money. At this point I was not advertising publicly on the forum, but I had my past customers spread the word to other people on the forum and I had done my solicitations through PMs.
Eventually the mods caught wind of it. They gave me a warning that if I dont pay the forum I will be banned. I ended up paying(and still am to this day). Now I can publicly advertise and I've been getting more customers which is more than enough to pay off the vendor fees each month.

In the small scale, I understand how paying vendor fees might seem unfair as I used to feel that way. However, I eventually understood that nothing in life comes free. I need to spend money, in order to make more money.

Think about it like this. If acurazine did not exist, you would not have had contact with that member, and would not have made the money. Simple as that, you don't need to have a vendor thread explicitly stating sales to make money here. Having members PM you and even publicly stating that you have something for sale is considered using this forum for financial gains

Yes, it is exactly considered using this site to sell stuff.

I'm sure banning members isn't a fun part of being a mod(or is it?), but I believe you made the correct move. I have nothing against Aaron/sharksbreath though, he seems like a cool guy, but rules are rules, it's nothing personal.

It was a lot more than just that.

George, well said. Those are the words of a mature man. And the funny thing is, if Aaron were running this website, do you think he'd let anyone squeeze by and make a profit without getting a cut. Simple answer is no. An angle was always being worked, even with his friends.

Nowhere lol

He is out of business as stated above.

Contact Ack05TL, I believe he is selling the decals but they are not domed.

Hi, No i'm not in the business of regulating. I'm just trying to find out if there is anyone else out there or other website that sells dome decals. I know Sharkbreath used and is no longer on Acurazine and no longer has a website. I was looking to find a domed decal for my own car.

There are no other "domed" decals available. The ones currently available are through another member and they are flat vinyl.
