ok here are some pictures of my headlights in process....

best thing to clean your plastic front cover is paint thinner, it'd useful to have an air compressor in hand to blow all the dusts out as well:

the black chrome parts i've waited for almost a month:

added the type s diffusers:

with the front covers back on:

example of what the headlights would look like before i put them back and seal them together properly:

overall i am very happy with the housing, they actually match my rims and type s tailights! it was worth the wait!!

i'll have more updated pictures when these babies are installed....

ok...update...
put those headlights on this weekend since the weather was soooo beautiful and hot!!

cut off from zkw lens, height adjustment of the headlights were pretty easy i might say:

I'm happy with the result overall, just waiting to get another set of resistors for my switchback signals.....also have to find time to mod my front side markers....

Looks sick the headlights, especially the zkw. Definately a nice job. I would say drop it some more though.

Speechless... and I thought noone was gonna up the headlight bar, but you sir have succeeded.

Excellent use of the TL-S diffusers. I may actually go back and do another set and do that. That looks so clean and proper.

Love the black chrome too. I was gonna do just that at one point, couldn't find anyone who could execure the black nickel plating to my liking. I still like the dark colormatch on WDP, but what you've done deserve mad props.

Glad I could be the inspiration...

Please share the ZKW love.

Funny you mention switchbacks, I just installed those, and finished off the side marker mod as well.

"warm and fuzzy all over"...

not too worry about them since my signals still amber. you can't really put switchbacks without resistors or they'll hyper flash and going white and amber colors back and forth in high speed, you're looking for trouble.

technically alot of things in vancouver are illegal, so just be careful how you mod them.

nice mirrors as in what? not quite get you....the type s side mirrors??

I like the headlights...looks like what I was planning last year, sans the CF. My plans have since changed, though, so no need to worry about a twin running around .

Now where are those custom inserts? I know, I know...just messing with you...

alright civictrix, thanks for your dxf file! but i had to do some more adjustment to make the scale as close as possible to fit....here are some pictures of the ACURA word cut on 10mil stainless steel.

back to the front side markers, i've found some pieces of wooden strips at a craft store and used it for the base:

as you can see, i tried to layer it as close as possible to the lens so i can get them as bright as i can:

test them before installation:

this is what it looks like at night:
