Last Mod before the Winter
I recently updated my front brakes to factory brembo's. Although I am super happy with the performance of brembo, because I got them from a junk yard they needed to be repainted. The clear coat was coming off and there was a lot of little nicks that bugged me every time I would look at them. Thanks to the great DIY here on Acurazine I got enough courage to try and repaint them myself. I know the color might not be for everyone but it definitely changes the look of the front wheel.
Now on to the pics:

After I finished all the prep work I took a break to drink a cold one and watch a little college football when my dogs started growling at something in the kitchen. To my surprise I found this...

I took measurements of the ACURA logo on the front and decided that it was a little too small so I had the printing company increase the size by 1/4 inch.

Thanks for the positive comments.
I used a high Temp Primer, paint, and clear coat. All paints can be bought at Oreilly's or Autozone.
All the paints are High temp and the decal is just a regular ebay decal. Since I used a High Temp primer it really shouldn't have any issues beyond the primer.
The calipers were 200 total from the junkyard. I called several in the area and told them what I was looking for and to give me a call if something comes up.

All parts can be found at a local junk yard. It may take you a couple of months to get everything all together. Some junk yards will have sister companies that they can contact for the part you are looking for. The more expensive parts like the calipers and Knuckles were bought from a junk yard. everything else can be purchased from oemacuraparts.com

Man looks good... I gotta get off my ass and get on this project. I have everything sitting in my garage.. just no time. Your thread gives me motivation.
And if I may suggest.. you should clear it.. .because it will prolong the life of that decal or else it might flake or peel away. Get a clear that is decal friendly.
I was going to get mine powder coated the same color. What's the name of the blue you used?

BTW I got both knuckles together with calipers and cross drilled rotors for $300. I had to drive about 100 miles though and on short notice but I wasn't going to pass that up. The junkyard said that the car was scheduled to be demolished the next day and would be gone if I didn't come pick it up the same day. Whether they were bluffing or not .... who knows.... I wasn't going to take the chance.
And yes this post is a gloat because it probably the best deal I've gotten on a mod!

I am saving up for Varianza T1S. I have thought of other wheels like Forgestar F14, but my heart is set. Just have to get the money or find the right deal.
