A hair under 52,000 miles and I finally replaced this. Not sure if it had been replaced before I bought the car, maybe when Acura certified it at 17K (doubtful), but I guess it wasn't quite as disgusting as I expected. Went ahead and did the cut out mod first time around, feels like I brought my car into the modern age now that it will be a 20 second job to inspect/replace in the future.

i have to go to my local Advanced to pick up my Griots Spray-on wax. The one thy shipped to me was busted open and all the fluid was in the bag(lucky it was in a bag to not ruin everything else).
I'll be picking up one of these cabin filters while I'm there... i have 56K
link to cut-out mod?

And here is the link to the cut-out "mod":
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/cabin-filter-replacement-mod-3g-garage-f-130-a-591437/
Took no more than a half hour by the time I had cut out enough to get the filter out, and no broken clips, cut up thumbs etc. Future filter changes will literally take about 30 seconds max.

I got the griots towels as well. I also got the speed shine. Figured I'd try out both. Haha
Thanks for the link. I see you bumped in the regular 3G section...
Seems like its going to require a couple of beers. Weather for rest of week is in the 70's with low humidity. My car is gonna be clean and ...breathing clean!
They replaced it with a 40% discount too!

Those coupons seem to come and go somewhat often, so maybe next time filters will be in stock.
So this morning I saw my first one of these...
I gotta say, it really caught my attention from the back. Some sort of lip kit and quads would really make it look nice. I definitely didn't love the beak, and the headlights, which were in DRL mode only since his lights were off, were just okay. I think I still prefer standard HIDs, but Acura needs to have something to stand out and be their signature I guess.
Overall, I think it's one of the best things I've seen from Acura in quite awhile.

Thanks guys!
I've actually been able to keep it clean for a while now, and I wanted to get some pictures before it got rained on, which turned out to be on the way home from these pics, about 2 minutes after I put the camera away.

I've been having the itch to finally install my eBay bmwshop roof spoiler finally, seeing as I've left it sitting in a box for so long. What do you guys think?

^^^ Do it! That was one of my first mods-I've always loved the way it adds to the aesthetic look of the car.

Kurt. FYI, you have some free time today. Do it. NAOWWW
I know you're probably afraid of it ruining the streamlined look of the car's roof line, but I promise...from a distance, you can't tell too much and when you get closer it flows well and adds an element of interest!

J is right, I do like the smooth lines off the roof.
But I usually have my sunroof popped, and I think the spoiler looks nice with and matches that line as well as the type s lip spoiler on the trunk.
