KBP with gold wheels....

Does anybody have a pic with this combo? I love the look of gold wheels on white cars but i wonder what it would look like on blue. I know subaru sti has that color combo but i want to see a tl-s with it. Can some one photoshop pics of this for me. This is just a thought and im curious how it looks so leave your rice comments at the door. Even though tls are made in U.S. the ACURA brand is from
Japan so dont kid yourself were all driving a japanese car. Keep that in mind.

I had that image in my head for soooo long. It's just a matter of saving up $5600 for rims and tires that's taking a bit of time. On top of all the other mods that are waiting in line: tein SS, progress rsb, ingals camber kit, and the list goes on and on

iono where youre buying your buying your rims, but youre getting ripped off. half of that would be acceptable. other than that, it will look awesome!

Don't know if you don't know this, but in Canada, certain things are much more expensive.

Such as my Blizzak LM-60 winter tires that I bought, that totaled up to $1370 after taxes...

Ouch! Same thing when I used to live in Hawaii. Always had to pay hundreds extra in shipping. But anyways the gold wheels would look hot with KBP.

Yea, the shipping is usually what kills it for us. My Continentals Extreme winter tires were only $576 on tirerack, after adding tax, duty, customs, I ended up paying $876. And one of the only stores here that can get Work's rims is quoting me $3500-$3800 for those rims depending on how wide and the offset. The tires on top of that (Falken 452's) 235/40/19, 245/40/19 are going to cost $800-$900 from any store here. And I just remembered, I'm going to need those TPMS sensors as well.

Nobody said anything bout switching badges guy. I would never do that. And there is a huge difference in a JDM car and riced out wannabes. Im just stating that our cars are from a japanese brand automaker so when people talk about ricey stuff isnt that an oxymoron. Modding is a very difficult subject we all have our subjective opinions when the only one that matters is yourself, its there car let them do whatever they want, like it or hate it, its thier money. Guys like you just like to bash things to make themselves feel better....after i specifically said no rice comment you just couldnt help yourself huh.....whatever floats your boat bro

OP- Since you have now made two comments about limiting people's opinions in this thread- I'm going to chime in. You asked for opinions on how it would look. If you can't handle it, then I'll just close the thread. CLtotheTL32 put his comment in red text so he was being sarcastic. Not many will help you if your gonna have that type of attitude. Lighten up.
That being said, I don't think you will find many on this site that will think gold wheels on a blue color will look bad. Good luck.

Thanks ggesq. OP, when someone puts their text in red, it means sarcasm. I didn't say that to offend you or piss you off. And even if I was being serious, you can't take shit like that to heart. Everyone has an opinion and you can't get mad if it's not what you want to hear.

Anyways good luck with getting a set of wheels. I think KBP with bronze wheels would look dope

I've seen some awesome bronze te-37s on a KBP before. I saved the pic on my computer but i think that was before i had to take my laptop to the geeksquad and cleared my hard drive. It looked really really good.

Gold ones in the same color would look just as good.

Those TE37's look amazing on the KBP. Kinda giving me second thoughts of doing the Work VS-XX although they cost the same to purchase anyways. Decafi1 mentioned that I'm paying too much for those rims. How much are 19' VS-XX in the states?
