Just picked up my new/used 04' TL!
Hey all!
I just closed the deal and picked up my new 04 TL. It was a long time coming. I've always wanted one and couldn't afford it.
Since I couldn't afford a TL previously, I chose to buy a 03 Black/Black Accord EX-L Coupe, V6 6MT. Man, that car was amazing. I loved it; it was fast, sexy, and my favorite color combo. What killed it was the fact that it was two doors, and the 6MT got really annoying. Here in No. VA, there is just too much traffic for me to handle a MT. Plus, my parents are getting older and the two doors were just a pain in the ass to deal with...for them at least. Damn I' a good son
Cars before that were a 99' TL, and a 95 Legend GS. Damn the legend was sick!
So, I sold that last week and had been looking for a TL recently. I had always kept my eye out for a good deal. I was searching for silver/black/white, but came across this green one at a deal I couldn't pass up. It was the last color combo I wanted, but the price was right and the buyer had done ALL previous maintenance!
Its a 04, Automatic, Green on Beige with Navi.
*btw, can anyone tell me what color this is called exactly?!
In the near future, I'm going to do the following Mods:
-Tint (35% in the front, 20% in the back)
-Back up Camera
-07-08 tails or S-Type tails
-Vent visors (OEM look amazing!)
-Rear lip spoiler, "M3 Style"
I'm also looking into rims and an A-Spec kit...but that's only if the prices are ridiculously good. I'm cheap
Plus I think it will be hard to find a set of rims that look good with this color...and I haven't seen any A-Spec kits that came this color either.

Welcome Quana...you'll really like the Aspec Kit for your TL. It makes a world of difference in the looks of the car. I always suggest tints and an Aspec Kit for Base TL's as first mods.
You might also consider a Carbon Fiber interior trim kit (if you don't like the woodgrain).

you should get navi update for 2011 while its still on sale for 99. after jan 31st its back at msrp 189. I'm sure things have changed a lot from 04 if its never been updated.

Updates!
Well, I dropped my TL off yesterday at the body shop to get the A-Spec kit painted and to fix some dents/scratches that were on it when I bought it. See here:
And today, I got some goodies in the mail!!
-Vent Visors (OEM)
-tail light gaskets (for my S-type DEPOs that are coming in the mail!)
-3rd/4th gear pressure switches
-and an oil filter!

and also eBay Fogs showed up with an "oem looking" switch. We'll see how the install goes
hahahaha. she loved the packing peanuts.....Don't worry I'll mark the box "FRAGILE."

Oh yeah; heres a few pics of my older cars. There were many in between, but these were my favorites;

Minor update today!
Got some parts in the mail!
Kyonick's eBay Roof Spoiler and DEPO Type S Tails!!
The roof spoiler looks pretty good. The paint looks very similar/good quality but I haven't gotten a chance to hold it up against the car since it's in the body shop.
The DEPOs look amazing. I'll be installing them when I put on my A-Spec kit. I got new gaskets for them as well

I'm actually planning on getting some Type-S wheels in the near future... If not I may paint my wheels a gunmetal color. I think I like that better than black.
Haha. I'm a VERY impatient person. I've had it about two weeks now I guess. I barely got a chance to drive it before taking it into the body shop. I wanted it to have a smooth body/interior before I started putting money into mods....Just makes sense to me lol.
I spent a LOT of money so far on mods (900 bucks just for body work and painting the A-Spec kit)..plus a bunch of other stuff haha. I've been saving up for a while so I'm splurging (conservatively, I guess) and getting everything I want!
Currently I have all of the following to install:

-03-05 Accord Fogs (Amber)
-Type-S Tails
-Trunk lid lip spoiler
-3rd/4th gear pressure switches + Tranny filter and Fluid
